I hadn't either, was nearly in tears this morning when I was reading it, she's so stoic about it all too, a real star :(
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Thats the problem, I have no idea how long I'll be waiting and no offence but talking about waiting will depress me if I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel:o....call it self-preservation;):)

Back is causing me pain, can barely sit still and the after-shock down the legs........OWWIE!! The guys at work were teasing me about having ants in my pants until I went white from the pain:eek: Shut them up anyway:p :rotfl: Tbh its an ongoing thing so used to the aches & pains anyway so don't feel sorry for me :)

Bladder just an inconvenience..may need an op or may just need to practice strengthening it..will know more after cystogram.

On the plus side, I can't eat coz the pain turns my stomach so skinny-me here I come:rotfl::rotfl:

Confuzzled, sorry to hear of your medical problems. I have a nerve in my back which gets trapped a couple of times a week and know how annoying that is so must be very hard to have the problems you have with your back. Fingers crossed they sort it out quickly!

Some people are just very jealous. DH's cousin is like that. When we brought our flat, we threw a flat-warming party. Her comment was "oh, its lovely but I would have to have two bedrooms" (we have a one bed flat). She is seething with jealousy because we are married and have our own place and her and her boyfriend got together before we did (and are not engaged or living together). I avoided her on the wedding day because I expected her to make a comment like "its lovely but I would have to have my wedding in a stately home" (we had a budget wedding). Perhaps I am not a very nice person but I like to do things that will wind her up when I do see her :rotfl: (which isn't very often) but I justify it by telling myself she isn't a very nice person (very materialistic and have heard her say horrible things about someone who was supposed to be her best friend!).

Sorry to hear that Confuzzled. I hope both health issues are resolved soon, and don't need ops.

Physio helped with my back, but my issue was purely posture related, so I don't know if it would be the same for you. I have heard a lot of positive things about pelvic floor exercises helping bladder related issues though, so fingers crossed you won't need the op! I also understand why you don't want to be on this thread at the moment, so come back if and when you are ready and we will, of course, welcome you with open arms.

In other news, OH bought me an early Birthday present - a Senz windproof umbrella, in a royal delft pattern! :D My other umbrella was bent out of shape by the wind and hail on Saturday!

Yeah it is MV:( And unfortunately no amount of pelvic floor exercises will help, I've been doing them for the past 10 months!! lol

Its not the end of the world but is a bit of a bummer...although secretly I think DH is pleased coz he'll get even more of a breather before I start harassing him for number 2:p:D

In better news, my Gran's finally had her name inscribed on her gravestone.............only took 8 years!!!!! ETA: she is dead by the way, we're not THAT weird:p:rotfl::rotfl:
