  • Now, do you have room for another???:A:D

    Always room for another!

I think after we've got married OH & I will be sitting down with a calculator (him) and spreadsheet (me) working out our options. I'd like to get the implant out as soon as possible, but that's me thinking with baby head rather than the logical part of my brain :rotfl:

Deep down I know that I wouldn't be happy going back to work really soon after having a baby. I'd want to be there for the milestones etc. I know that my parents are happy to help, but they already look after my brother's eldest and will be having their youngest soon enough.

Why is this all so hard? :o

QQ is the exception, my personal opinion, she's either completely mental or a saint:D:D:D

After sliently lurking for the past month I couldn't agree more! Good luck with your eggies QQ...I shall now go back to contemplating the line between lurking and stalking!

Well I've found something else to add to my 'to do before ttc' list - lose my 'baby' weight from last time (for baby read pork pies and pringles).

Yesterday my mother in law asked if we had anything to tell her, nudge nudge wink wink. Erm no I'm just fat! :o

At least I know she's on board with the idea of another one - unlike my mother.

Logical?!?! No chance of that when you want kids!:p We were waiting til we could afford it, waiting for this, that and then the other....meanwhile all our friends(who don't have any/much income) were having their 2nd/3rd kids when they could barely afford the ones they had!, so we threw caution to the wind and decided to go for it, roughly a year later we were expecting, that was one hell of a year! if common sense was a factor I wouldn't have Lottie, specially with the state of my sig:o:rotfl:
as for returning to work...its a nice break:o admittedly this is only my 2nd week so i'm probs only the novelty factor :D

The more it's worth having the harder it is;)

Oh, I'm now having a 'I really want to be trying already day' now. Where did my PMA go? If anyone finds it, please return it to me! lol

Sometimes, I am in agreement with waiting and keeping my sensible hat on. And other days, I feel like we'll never get there, and that even if we do, there'll be another reason to wait. :(

They'd been trying for 6 years with my cousin mainly because she has *issues* not related to TTC. More physical issues.

Sensible hat is good if you're buying a house or a car, having a kid... don't think the heart understands sensible:p you will know when the time's right, its a bit like knowing you love someone, you just do, no rhyme or reason to it!
PMA PMA, if you do wait you'll be debtfree and be able to splurge more on said child, you'll be able to bring baby over to the UK more often as you won't have debt considerations and hopefully a relatively healthy savings pot and you can still make the most of being on your own, anything you've always wanted to do, do it now or you won't get another chance til your 50+:D:D:D

I'm doing my 1st IVF now, and if this fails, we'll try again later in the year:)
DH doesn't want to adopt, I'd prefer my own child too, so we'll keep at it for as long as we can:cool:
If it doesn't happen, then we'll have a nice peaceful rest of our lives with lots of holidays and expensive stuff:D

Glad she had her wish in the end:happyhear
