Has anyone used the above website to order a game in the last 2 weeks. I searched on google for Gears of War and the first match at the top was from TigerGame for only £32.00 delivered, seeing it was .co.uk and foolishly thinking it would get the game to me quicker than the likes of Play Asia, I went ahead with the purchase - which I paid via PayPal. After 7 days and no game through the letter box, i went back to Google and found they had disappeared with only a few web-matches about other people asking if anyone had ever heard of TigerGame .... I then received the email below to my e-mail:

Subject: iImportant Informaton for our Customers
Dear Customer,
We are sending this message to all customers who have ordered from us in the past week.
All our processing of orders has been on time, and all orders have been dispatched within 2-3 days of ordering as we promise, however the order status when you log into our website may not reflect this and this is an issue that we are working hard to rectify.
So, if your order is showing as processing and it's been a couple of days since you ordered then please do not panic, your order will be with shortly.
This small error has meant that we have had a lot of emails from concerned customers, so much so that we have had difficulty keeping up with emails, if you have sent us a message and not yet had a reply then please do not think that we are ignoring you, we are replying to all emails but it's taking longer than usual.
Sincerely
Alan Saunders

Firstly, the e-mail Nobody [mailto:nobody@harrier.eukhost.com] rang an alarm bell, and also the e-mail itself detailing that they had many other e-mails from customers asking where their game's were also did. Their disappearence from google and a whois search on them reveled they are based in Tailand, made me think there really is not much hope of this game turning up!
Therefore, I would AVOID this place like the plague, unless the game actually turns up and I'll eat my words and my hat.

Have you had any joy yet with this company, I also bought gears of war from them over 9 days ago and have still not received anything.
Do you know if it's possible to make a claim for a refund through paypal or my credit card.
Cheers0 -
Hello all, yes I too made the mistake of buying a game from tigergame two weeks ago, and am now regretting it....no sign of my boyfriends christmas present ever arriving! I can only assume it's a fraudulent site and having had no direct correspondance with the owner except for the general email from 'Alan Saunders', I've all but given up. Will be trying to recover the money through paypal - though I've no idea if that is possible...0

Further to my last email, this is the contact details given on the paypal payment reference. Of course if you dial this number it says 'number not recognised'. That country code is Austria.

Going to open a dispute with paypal in the resolution centre, unless anyone has any better ideas....0 -

If you do get the game you can 99.9% guarantee that it is a copy and not an original. There re not that many shops that do sell originals in Thailand simply because the Thai people cannot afford to pay for an original. Don't get me wrong here i'm not advocating them just saying how it is. he original games are in a Mall called Central in Bangkok but unfortunately they are approx £6 dearer than the same game bought in the UK due to import charges. It is very unlikely that this is not selling copied games.
I'm sorry you've been caught by this and i do hope you get your money back. Something really needs to be done about this but it is so vast that by the time they get through half of it the total will of doubled. Good luck0 -
I too ordered Gears of War from this 'company' almost two weeks ago and only yesterday received a teletubbies DVD from someone in Thailand! Obviously I am not very happy and have emailed them four times but am yet to receive a reply. I paid through paypal and have opened a dispute with them and they are now investigating.
I don't hold out much hope of getting my £31.99 back, but if my message stops just one person making this mistake, it's not too bad!
I'll let you know if I receive the game!
