Programmes aimed at teenagers can be good but not always as they can show or imply certain behaviours which are not appropriate. The CH 4 sex education show is good though.
Of course the pornography which is being viewed is totally different and should be totally discouraged at this age.

Indeed this is true. The ch4 show can be a good stepping stone for children / teenagers who is "wondering" But believe it or not many parents bann their children from watching it.
I totally disagree with with the comments re: sex education in schools.
Each class is poorly run. It was 10 years ago & it still is now. If it was any good maybe we wouldn't have many children having children.
Please don't get me wrong, I do not think !!!!!! is the way to be learning! The OP post needs to put a stop on this, But they cant until they find out why he is looking!

I totally agree that sex education is poorly run, concentrating too much on mechanics and staying 'safe' rather than where sex fits into a healthy and committed relationship and certainly much older than 13.The short answer from being a male and a teenager once is, men/teenagers don't have much imagination and !!!!!! helps there private time along nicely.
A child of 13 shouldn't be watching !!!!!! and having 'private' time.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Ehh?
Sorry to single out one post, but I'm really shocked by some of the attitudes expressed in this thread. Have we been transported back in time to the early 19th century?
Talk about how to mess up your kids and give them a guilt complex about sex for the rest of their lives...lighten up people! !!!!!! and masturbation are an ENTIRELY NORMAL part of life. It's the most natural thing in the world for teenagers to exploring their sexuality - that's what puberty is all about. Stamping on them and making them feel dirty and guilty about what's natural will scar them for life.
No wonder we have so many social problems in this country...

I cant understand how you can say that. Children & teens do have imaginations. In fact more then adults, So that's not a valid excuse!
The long & short of this thread is that:-
At 13, He should NOT* be watching it.
&
Clearly there is hidden reasons as to why he is hell bent on watching it, Maybe it could be because he is wanting answers to question's he might have.Future goals:

Not that hidden...it's called puberty."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey. When it comes to history, it will be the people who broke the law for freedom that will be remembered and honoured." --Rt. Hon. Tony Benn0 -

While sadly for some teenage children they may 'explore their sexuality' that doesn't necessarily mean that it is right. No we shoudn't make them feel dirty and guilty but teach them about appropriate sexual relationships.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Of course it's right. What do you think is supposed to happen at puberty? Exploring one's sexuality isn't the same thing as having sex, you know. The OP should be grateful that her son is taking a responsible approach. No we shoudn't make them feel dirty and guilty but teach them about appropriate sexual relationships."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey. Appropriate in what way? Fitting in with some warped Victorian morality, no doubt....
I am well aware what happens at puberty thank you. However just because the body is changing and a child is more aware that they are a sexual being doesn't mean that it is the right time to express that sexuality.
An appropriate relationship is a committed monogomous relationship and at least over 16.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

In this situation no 1 person is right.
What might suit one family, Will not suit another. The OP has made it clear that she is worried that her child is 13 & watching !!!!!! & she doesn’t like it.
Exploring sex is something the OP cant stop. But she can protect.
I don’t want to pass on worry but…
Some of the free !!!!!! sites are known dangers for adults let alone children.
Also with some of these sites, They have chat rooms. All you need is a email account. Again free.
All of which a child can access.
There is so many different types of !!!!!!, From mild to dangerous & violent.
If he is left to watch anything like this, He will truly believe that’s how to you treat a loved one.
After all, He’s 13 not 18. These sites are listed at 18 or 21 for a GOOD reason!Future goals:
