Been reading all the posts about citibank - thought i would apply as my credit is bad . Just gave them a call - and was told that they had declined my application.
I was a bit shocked - as some of the threads that were posted - seemed to have a worse history than mine - i have not been made bankcrupt but have ccj and defaults and i am a homeowner
Help - what can i do next - as i would much rather a visa card
Has anyone else appealed and won ????

Hi, I have just filled in the application for this account and i have a quick question.
I don't have a cheque book and i read a few people saying that you had to send additional ID. I am happy enough to send my driving licence but do i send the original or just a photocopy? What has everyone else done in this situation?
Thanks0 -

I sent a letter saying I didn't have a cheque book, then sent photocopies of my passport and driving licence (both photocard & paper part).0 -

Can anyone help me out? I've just trawled through 45 pages of this thread and can't find anyone in the same boat as me!
I live with my parents and have no utility bills in my name. I have no passport and no driving license. So not much in the way of ID.
I have the pack through from Citibank, but it looks like I have no ID to send them other than things in my parents name. I have payslips and tax stuff and a photo ID card for my workplace, but nothing else.
PLEASE HELP! It looks like I may be the first person to be turned away by Citibank!0 -
