I'm sure this has been asked before, but I sent off my app. a week or so ago, along with an initial cheque to them.

They've sent a letter back, returning the utility bill, with a little note saying that they might need to do further checks blah blah blah (standard letter I think)...

Now, they've kept the cheque, which I'm hoping is a good thing, but the fact that the account wasn't opened outright after sending them the details makes me wonder what my chances are?

    Anyone got an idea?

    Thanks.

I had my documentation back in the mail on Monday, then the pin number mail dropped in yesterday. Today the card. Nothing with my account number on, typical bank stupidity!!!

I chose Citibank we have 'second cousin of a third aunt' business relations with them...whim really, plus many of the online banks want salaries paid into them and I simply want an alternate bank account.

Hi you should get a welcome pack and in it a letter at the top of the letter is your account no, your sort code in on your card.
check all the info you have got so far to see if your account no is on any of them as I missed mine, and it was on a couple of letters, very small print top right corner.

Has anyone received the money from Quidco yet for opening the CItibank account?
I have £80 in my Quidco added column in my earnings but no date or anything, but Citibank is no longer shown as a Quidco merchant.

Hope fully this will answer your question

    Email to Quidco re Citibank

    Morning Quidco,

Can you please advise on the following?

I notice that Citibank is no longer on the site, Will they still pay out the tracked sales?

Is this a temporary thing or permanent?

    Thanks

    Marcellep

    Reply From Quidco Tonight
    Hi Marcellep,

Tracked sales will be paid out as normal. They are currently reviewing
their online marketing strategy and have yet to decide whether the
closure of their programme is temporary or permanent.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona

I also got an email about 3wks ago and they said Citi had nly paid up until Oct. So a wee wait is in order

Your right they do seem to be a little stricter now, But the way I look @ it, you will never know unless you apply.

You say you have poor credit rating - What like? Defaults etc

I personally think its worth trying as you have everything to gain.

*Don't apply for OD, that seems to help

when I had a citicard I couldnt use it for online purchases. Because its an american company and something to do with the way that the expiry date was written I was told by Citibank.

Only a few websites would allow me to use it.
    I love this site
