If I was wrong then I say sorry to you, but how I read it, applied to me that you were more upset that an immigrant had got an account over you, more than just being knocked back by the bank, and thats how I thought it was racist, if this is not the case then I am truly sorry.

I see what he was saying which is a valid point. People could come here from another country where they have left thousands of pounds of debt behind and get a full acount with all the trimmings.

Others like some of us who got into a bit of trouble in the past but have now sorted ourselves out cant even get a cheque book or a decent debit card

yes I know what you are saying but at the end of the day, its our own faults that cause the problems, not other peoples, so why say he/she, when people should look closer to home for the blame. anyway enough said about it, I am truly sorry if what I said upset anyone
