we will have to wait and see then, they did say they will be sending something in post for me to sign and return with the id. I have already got a halifax cardcash account with visa electron that i have had for a few years and dont mind too much so nothing ventured nothing gained.

I just came across this post and thought It would just be nice to have a proper card and not have to worry about when you go in a shop making sure you have the cash on you or having to look around for signs to see if they accept my mickey mouse card. Or being out with friends and having to find a cashpoint before you go for a meal because you arent sure if the place will accept your card.

So here goes, I have got 2 defaults on my file one from 5yrs ago and 1 from 5 and a half years ago so maybe ill get lucky. we'll see.
  • I applied for this account early January, sent council tax bill, bank statement and copy of driving licence with a covering letter. After keeping up to date on both threads i really didnt think i would get the account as it seems as though it is getting more and more difficult.

Pins arrived yesterday followed by my card today, its a 2 in 1 card but im really really pleased :-)

Took 3/4 weeks from start to finish and my credit rating isnt great with a couple of ccj's and defaults

Im sorry if you didnt get this account but i wanted to say thanks to ComputerWoman for all the time, effort and patience she has put into both threads - and of course anyone else!

Strange I didn't have the option of printing off the forms I don't think. Got an email confirming the application though saying i will get a pack within 5 days which i have to sign and send back with the id etc. Itt will make my day if I get this account, I don't want it so I can abuse it or run up debts will be just good to have a normal card accepted everywhere.

    Just a quick one

Which account are people opening to get this £50 from Quidco?

Does this new account cost anything to maintain? I'm sure i read on the Citibank website that it costs £10 a month?

Am i getting my wires crossed?

    Cheers peeps
