    Just a quick one

Which account are people opening to get this £50 from Quidco?

Does this new account cost anything to maintain? I'm sure i read on the Citibank website that it costs £10 a month?

Am i getting my wires crossed?

    Cheers peeps

You have to sign up with the one with the £10 monthly fee where you get the travel insurance etc to get the quidco cash. I didn't want all this so I just signed up for the standard access account only thing is I don't get the cashback from quidco.

Although in hindsight I was thinking you could probably sign up for the £10 a month one through quidco then once you have got your cashback probably within what 2 months? You could then change the account to the standard one. It is possible to switch as I read on their website that you can.
  • I applied last night and printed out the forms to sign and send back....had enough with natwest being worse than useless I complained the other day and got a letter that only addressed one aspect of it that was the final straw!

    cant be quick enough lol

Good luck with your application .. I also printed my forms out as well when I applied ... hoped it would speed up the process .. Took just over 2 weeks in total from applying to receiving my pack, card and PINS ... I think that might be pretty standard time frame though ...

  • Hi

I sent off the colour photocopy of driving license along with lots of utility bills at the end of January and just call them today and they checked and said it had been sent to the underwriters department do verify that I am who I say I am.

But I dont understand as they have a colour copy of my passport plus loads of other bills etc. Does this mean they will say no?

    Thanks Jojopo

This does not mean they will say NO but there again it does not mean they will say yes either. They are just doing the verification part of the process, I would expect you to hear within the next week.

Hi first of all I am sorry that you couldnt get this account and the second thing is that if you were talking about me as immigrant then let me correct you that I have European Union Swedish nationality. So as I am a EU national I can live where ever I want in the EU with out any immigration. I shifted to UK about 6 months ago and I got my self registered with equifax and experian. I am also on the electoral roll and I sent them an original BT bill with my passport copy, thats why I think I got accepted.
You have to send them at least one original document for address verification but you sent them photocopies. So try to send them some original id docs and get yourself registered on the electoral roll because thats the first thing a bank checks that if you are on the electoral roll or not.

Yes i believe i was talking about you. the english dictionary defines the word immigrant as this "a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence". Clearly you dont have a great understanding of the english language, for that i forgive you.

now ComputerWoman.... would you like to explain in what way that is racist? and why it sent you off on a paragraph long rant a few posts down? It was in no way intended to be racist, it was simply the easiest way to refer to khurammm without looking his name/post up. I'm not racist i was simply pointing out that an immigrant (a person who has permanently migrated to this country) found it easier to get a bank account than me. I've managed to open a bank account with lloyds tsb now, with an over draft. Thanks. As you said your dyslexic so maybe you never understood the meaning of the word immigrant either, but i hope i've cleared up the english definition of it.

I actually thought everyone on this forum was really helpful & friendly but thanks to computerwoman i wont be coming here again.

Hey man if I misunderstood then I am sorry but you dont have to be so harsh towards computerwoman as I think she has helped every one the most.
