Recent CitiBank Applicant?

Receive my Citibank 2 in 1 visa debit card in the morning. Only think to feel confuse is my account number are on the last eight numbers of my debit card. Difference from the other bank

And I sent them a counter cheque for a grand with about a billion forms of ID and they tell me 7 weeks after my initial application that I am refused.

I was quite hopeful that I will get the account but after reading the above I am not so hopeful any more.

hi blushbaby after reading numerous posts on this site about citibank there are a few with outstanding ccjs that have been accepted hope this gives you hope xx

Hi Everyone,
I applied for the Citibank account and coz I don't have a cheque book I sent colour photo-copy of driving licence with electric bill. Citibank have sent me letter asking for 'certified' copy of passport OR driving licence signed and stamped by a solicitor or bank/building society official as 'true copy of original'.As I bank with the co-op I don't have a local branch and I don't live near a Citibank branch. So it looks like I'll either have to pay a solicitor or ask Nationwide (I have a basic savings account with them) to oblige.
Anyone else had all this carry on?
Did phone Citibank but they're insisting on 'certified copies':rolleyes:

Sorry, forgot to add that Citibank's letter said my new account has been provisionally approved subject to the 'certtified copies' of ID being sent to them.
Can anyone tell me what the Citibank Premium account is as they are referring to me as a Citibank Premium Banking Customer. What goodies if any does that account come with?
