You can use it anywhere yous ee the visa sign.

I assume the numbers are raised across the centre of the card...?

Electron cards tend to be printed numbers that you can not feel when you run your finger across the card.

Yes the numbers are raised, its a blue card with the hologram, and just above the hologram it says VISA in a white box with a yellow bit on the V and underneath the word visa it says debit in blue.
All thats on the back is the security /signature strip and tiny writing about citibank.

In that case its def a Visa Debit card and not a electron card. Its the same as mines. You will not have any problems using it online or in shops.

I've just spoken to the lovely people @ Citi regarding a cheque guarantee card & yes, I'll need to be on the plus account for that, they will look at accounts after three months & whether i'll get one depends on how i've managed my account NOT external credit checks YAY a bank with a brain :j
