You need to apply for the other account in order to get the £50 cah back via Quidco. There is then nothing stopping you downgarding your account to the access account once your Quidco payment clears. You will not pay the £10.00 fee till April 2007.
If you are a Sterling Current Account customer, we have updated your current account so that it now provides you with even more great benefits. To reflect the comprehensive enhancements outlined below, your account will be re-named Citibank Plus.

You will be able to enjoy all the benefits of Citibank Plus for free until the 1st of April 2007. From April we will be introducing a monthly fee of just £10, great value when you consider that the retail price for the concierge service in your package costs £75 per month. Below is an outline of the great new benefits available to our International customers:

    Your own personal concierge service
Unlimited access to Citibank's International Lifestyle Management service - with global connections to organise almost anything you want around the world, for example, book last minute tickets to a sold out show in London; book a flight, transfers and hotel in New York; or arrange a table at a restaurant in Moscow.

    Reduced fund transfers fees
Just £10 to any non-Citibank account in the world, a real saving when you consider that it is normally £20 on a standard account.
    More interest
Interest is now paid on your cheques from the day they are deposited.
    Low-cost international services
No management fees on our Euro and US Dollar Current Accounts that enable you to make debit card transactions in Europe or the US without incurring any fees or commission charges.

You can then switch by filling in this form-

7.1. You will be issued with a cheque book, the guarantee limit is subject to status.

I dont think there is any gurantee

it says visa on the front and delta on the back
Mine only says Visa on the front, it doesnt say anything on the back, does this mean I have Citis version of Electron or can I use it anywhere that displays Visa?

That's what made me wonder, the access account says no guarantee card but the plus says the limit is subject to status, to me that means you do get one but if bad credit, only a low limit? Maybe I should just call them & ask lol
