Blushbaby wrote:Hi guys,
I'm confused now ...WHICH account should I be applying for on the site now?? The "Sterling" account isn't there
Thank you!
Also another thing. I've lived at my address for the past 18 mths but I'm not on th electoral register here (shared hsehold). Since living here I've acquired an Abbey Basic account - will I be automatically declined for the Citibank account because I'm not on the electoral register.
I rang my council about it a couple of mths back and they said canvassers would pop the forms through the letterbox - they haven't!! I don't have the time in the working week to go there in person and get this sorted!
The local canvess would have finished now as the new electoral registers are printed on the 1st December each year. However, if you ring your local council they can still send you a form OR if you look online here http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/ you might be able to email or print the form off .
Good luck with your application ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

Hope that helps
i didnt know that they where part of lloyds, lloyds will not give me an account apart from a savings account but citibank give me everything, strange0 -
Citibank are not part of Lloyds. They are a UK subsidiary of the US bank Citibank, which is a huge international concern. The only connection is that they have an arrangement with Lloyd's for crediting of cheques and cash. the delay mentioned by people above is because the money still has to go bank to bank via the clearing system. Lloyds have one of the most abysmal basic accounts on the market.0

Thats the account which will get you £50.00 - You can then change to the access account after you have the £50.00.
The chances are as long as you can provide id you will be accepted, Nobody here has been declined yet. Be prepared to send additional ID
Thank you I followed the link on the other site and that was the account I applied for.
Thanks for your help too Tori!!
I'll let you know how I get on! I need a debit card again! Fingers crossed I get it!0 -
