She could just try sending a few other forms of ID like council tax bill, utility bill & bank statment and also put in a covering letter saying she doesn't have a cheque book, passport or driving licence.

Hi just go with that one for now until you get your cash then switch using the link on the citi website before 1st april as they will start charging on 1st may, and switch to the access account then.

    Hi ,
Sent my application on 29 Jan with the ids. Have not yet received any reply from them. How long usually does it take to get the first reply from them?

  • week 1 apply
week 2 get form sign send id's off
week 3 get pins and card welcome pack.
that works out 21 days from beginning to end roughly, but everyone is different, my guess is that you should hear something this week, best wishes CW

    Hi guys,

I'm confused now ...WHICH account should I be applying for on the site now?? The "Sterling" account isn't there

    Thank you!

Also another thing. I've lived at my address for the past 18 mths but I'm not on th electoral register here (shared hsehold). Since living here I've acquired an Abbey Basic account - will I be automatically declined for the Citibank account because I'm not on the electoral register.

I rang my council about it a couple of mths back and they said canvassers would pop the forms through the letterbox - they haven't!! I don't have the time in the working week to go there in person and get this sorted!

Thats the account which will get you £50.00 - You can then change to the access account after you have the £50.00.

The chances are as long as you can provide id you will be accepted, Nobody here has been declined yet. Be prepared to send additional ID
