I went into town today to christen my new debit card and treat the family. Got to the checkout and I totally blanked on the PIN :o I have so many to remember now that I got it all mixed up.
I think my next job is to empty my Pre-paids and dump them. I will only have the 2 PINs to remember then!
I wonder how many of us will do this, forget our pins, lol bless you

Can anyone tell me how I go about changing my bank details for my child benefit and my tax credits?

I am crap at keeping paperwork and I have no idea of my child benefit reference number which was asked for on the website :o

With tax credits just phone them & they should find your details from your national insurance number & address etc, shouldn't be a problem, they always just ask me my NIN. I dunno with child benefit though they refuse to pay me for the cat :!!
  • I've phoned child benefit before without my ref no, they'll just ask you the usual security questions to confirm identity, at least they did with me

hi jembie , you can call child benefit on 0845 302 1444 , they are open 7 days a week , 8- 8. they'll take your details and change your account info while you're on the phone with them , at least they did with me. Hope that helps.
