I am going to have a look at the T&C for the Sterling Savings Account and if all looks ok, then I will open one for the £30 through Quidco.
No reason why it should not pay out.
Hi,
I cant remember if i ticked to open the savings account at the same time as my current accountDid they send you the details of that account separately or can you tell from internet banking if you have one?
Thanks
MBM x stillabout why I am the only one who has been told I have to maintain a £2000 balance to be sent a chequebook

I have just applied for this account. they recevied my application on the 17th and I have had a letter and my original documents back.
Questions
1. How long are they genererally taking to turn around applications?
2. Has any one been turned down as yet?
3. I am worried that i may be turned down as i have two CCJs and 3 defaults, has anyone who has been approved in a similar financial situaiton
4. I am paying my salary into the account of £4000 per month, do you think this will help in been approved?
thanks.
1- Have a look at the post on this page - done by Dexters_mum
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...321204&page=12 This is very helpful.
2- Reading the thread nobody that has written on here has been turned down so far. It would appear that Citi are pretty understanding when it comes to new customers.
3- Not to sure about this one, But I guess time will tell - Good Luck
4- I am very sure that if you can provide evidence of this superb salary then that should help you.
Hope that helpsIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -

Just a quick concern that hopefully one of you can answer!! I recently moved in with my partner during the application process and my post redirection went funny for 4 days (ie didnt work!) I have told citibank but they want me to write in confirming my new address etc.. I have only today recieved a letter about moving my DD's and SO's from my old bank to citibank, in your experience does this letter come before or after you get your card and the welcome pack?? The lady on the phone at citi didnt seem to know?
Thanks!!0 -

I recieved those forms in the application pack that I had to sign and send back to them. It also had the terms and conds of the account. Maybe worth while calling them again and ask them what they have sent out todate.

It's a diferrent letter, this one has my account number on it. I spoke to citi and she couldnt confirm what they had sent out and suggested I should go into my nearest branch, which is 30miles away. Doesnt bode well if your card falls into the wrong hands and it needs cancelling?!0

Hi there! I was looking for another account as I am going to claim my bank charges back from Abbey. Due to a shocking credit rating I have been turned down for current accounts elsewhere so I thought that I would give Citi a go! I applied on line and received the form back to sign and return. Am doing this today and will wait to see if I have been successful! Fingers crossed!!0
