Mind you, in saying that, I can't find the Sterling Savings Account anywhere on the CitiBank website.

Hiya, been lurking here for a while and decided to open a citibank account as my parachute account as going to claim my bank charges back with the RBS.

I've got my debit card and pins and a letter giving my account number but it doesn't seem to say a sort code on it????

the sort code should be on your card at the bottom
    31/12/2006 £8395, 01/10/2008 £5089.73, 19/10/2010 £835.00 31/03/2011 £0.00

Well i received a cheque book yesterday after requesting one online.
I don't have the 3 in 1 card but am pleased just to have the cheque book itself as i still find there are somethings i need to send a cheque for.
So all in all i am very impressed with citibank so far ,fingers crossed they now give my husband the account he has just applied for.
  • Hi,

I have just applied for this account. they recevied my application on the 17th and I have had a letter and my original documents back.

    Questions

    1. How long are they genererally taking to turn around applications?
    2. Has any one been turned down as yet?
    3. I am worried that i may be turned down as i have two CCJs and 3 defaults, has anyone who has been approved in a similar financial situaiton
    4. I am paying my salary into the account of £4000 per month, do you think this will help in been approved?

    thanks.
