Well I got the paperwork today, but am in two minds about whether or not to apply. I was in a panic cos I thought Co-op were going to close my account, but that hasn't happened (yet) so I think I'll have a think about it. I only changed banks last summer as I got my bank charges back from Nationwide and they closed my account. I like the ethics of the Co-op so want to stay with them if I can. Watch this space!

Thanks to the enthusiasm of everyone on here , i bit the bullet and applied for an account with citi , because we've had such a nightmare with natwest......and i've just found out that even with our horrendous credit rating , we've been accepted . i wouldnt have bothered , but for the encouragement of peeps on here. Thank you all so much.

  • Hi all.
Having just spent the best part of a hour reading through this thread i've just applied for a Citibank current account and my credit rating is shocking, no ccj's but I have 1 default and if I get this account then most people should although i'll admit I doubt that i'll get it.

I went into town today to christen my new debit card and treat the family. Got to the checkout and I totally blanked on the PIN :o I have so many to remember now that I got it all mixed up.
I think my next job is to empty my Pre-paids and dump them. I will only have the 2 PINs to remember then!
