have nominated sgx, saint for this months post as a BIG THANKYOU

Awww thank you, but as I keep saying I can't take 'all' the credit. I only circulated the information which I gleemed from another earlier post about an individual whop got accepted for a CitiBank account whilst in an IVA.

But I am touched that you have nominated me :)

    Hi,
This is my first post on this forum. I have been reading this forum and I too applied for a citi account.
Today I received my ID back saying they are processing my account and if successful will receive my details within 15 days.
My question is this: Should I wait until or hear or should I ring and enquire? If I should ring how long should I leave it before I enquire as I do not want to be seen as harrassing them.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Well I went to the Manchester branch the other day, and I can't pay money into my account there. Which means going 250 miles to London just to pay in money, which I won't do.

How do I put money into this account? I know about the situation with Lloyd's but I'd like to transfer money into it immediately, regardless of whether I get charged for the service.

    Thanks.
  • internet banking as far as I know don't know how, you can get a mandate form and have your wages put in direct, or just ring who ever is resonsible for your wages and give then your new bank details and let them sort it out. other than that send a cheque to your account via post or use TSB, I know you can transfer money between your accounts online but I think this is just citibank accounts, paypal comes to mind for transfering money.:money:

Ok Thanks for that. I really hope I get this account as having a co op cashminder is ok but I work 10 hours a day and it's so difficult to get to a post office in my lunch break to pay money into it, whereas we have a Lloyds TSB right on the doorstep.
I'll let you all know how I get on.
