    :santa2: Morning!

    Happy Birthday Queenie! :bdaycake:

Well it is pouring down here and very windy so I guess the bad weather caught up with us finally. Holly (our 13yr old cat/furbaby) actually put herself in reverse when I opened the back door :rotfl: she is now hogging the fire!

Ironing day here I am afraid and hopefully I can bake Kethrys cookies, I love baking when the weather is bad outside.

Gingin - have a fantastic time in New York! Shopping is fab over there.

PP - Glad to hear your good news! Hope you feel a bit better soon!

Aussie Lass - It doesn't seem that long ago that you had the cooler weather and the rain and called us wimps when we complained about this summers heatwave!:D How time flies!

Decoration for day 5 is a gold starlight candle holder.

    Have a good day!

Well I'm back from the dentist and have had my tooth fixed nearly thumped him though when he poked the nerve and said thats why it hurts so much
still job done now and it didn't cost me nothing as I had some work done a couple of weeks ago if you have to go back within two months the first charge you pay covers it all so the money I was expecting to pay I went to the lovley butcher on the market and bought the meat for christmas a huge gammon a huge bit of beef and a huge turkey crown which is enough for all the entertaining we do and plenty of rubber meals iyswim also got ds2 a dvd as a treat to cheer him up
PP good news for you today on your wm and the vouchers hope something else nice happens as they say it comes in threes
    pam
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

  • Glad you're all sorted mrs_mix and interesting about not having to pay within a certain time of last visit. Didn't know that.

Still trying to get myself organized today. DS2 is battling away with his Maths and seems happy enough so I might nip and give my ceramic hob the toothbrush treatment and tackle the microwave - goodness knows what that is welded to the ceiling of it.

On reflection, wish DS2 needed more help with his multiples and factors. :(

    Hi everyone,

Not too much time to post but had to pop on to wish Queenie happy birthday.

Hope to get the tree decorated tonight - DH put it up (with difficulty) and strung the lights last night while I was at my meeting, I do the decs.

Apart from that am supposed to be meeting friends for a couple of hours so not a lot of time to spare.

    Sue
