  • Morning Everyone :hello:

    Happy Birthday Queenie xx

Got back from sunnier climes last night, we had a lovely relaxing holiday and I'm feeling quite refreshed - hope that feeling lasts!!

Started the washing mountain last night and have another load on the go. I could probably get it all washed today but as we don't have a TD, I have to do it in batches otherwise the house resembles the laundry from Eastenders :rotfl:

Plans for today include doing a big shop - ran the house completely down before we left and now have to buy everything from scourers to cheese. Piled a few pounds on whilst on holiday - one cocktail too many I think  so hopefully getting back to normal means I can lose it again.

    B - Cereal or Toast
    L - Sandwich (when I've been shopping!!)
    D - No idea

Have a good day everyone xxx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!

Gingin XDH and I took DS and DD to New York back in April. If you love chocolatey things, try and get to Serendipity on East 60th Street (look up the website). Their speciality is Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and it is to die for!!! DS thought the place was the highlight of the trip. You may even spot a celeb or two there. Apparently Andy Warhol used to pay his bill by giving them little drawings. A wonderful wee place.

oooh, i second this! it's wonderful place. Am off to NYC in april next year, so am planning to drag my friends i am going with off to Serendipity. :j

happy tuesday everyone. Happy birthday Queenie :T

Morning All - Hope we are all well

Happy Birthday to Queenie, Enjoy your day.
Gingin - Have a lovely break, the kids will still be here when you return, make the most of your freedom for a while, its nice you've got time to spend with Mr Gingin - alone.

We didnt exactly break out into a full blown converstaion last night (myself & OH), a few grunts here and there, we sat writing Xmas cards last night. So that was some form of communication - lol.

Post Office after work to post the cards, and presents which cant be hand delivered - due to distance. The kids are at cubs/scouts. *reminder* must get list for camping 4 the wk end. Kids are going camping (indoor) on Friday till Sunday, sadly for us - the wk end will be spent wrapping presents.

Got the decs & lights down from the loft, so no doubt they will go up shortly (if I had my way, they wouldnt go up at all) Bar Humbug.

Anyway, must go and jump in the shower now, Take care and Have a lovely day
    Love as usual

Have just decorated my lounge - took 5 mins as I dont go overboard as we're pushed for space having to have a desk and dining table in the lounge. Have got a fibre optic tree, christmas candle and mini tree for my coffee table plus a few lights for the window and thats it! wish I had lots of room for a proper tree:rolleyes:

:bdaycake: Wishing you everything you wish yourself on your birthday Queenie ~ have a good one!

It's very wet and windy here today so the washing will have to be festooned around the house.

I went to bed last night with a sore throat hoping it would have gone away by this morning, but no chance - it's turning into the rotten cold that seems to be doing the rounds. I hate colds!

Today I'm staying in as I'm waiting for a parvel which is supposed to be a definate delivery for today. I'm also waiting for the solicitor to 'phone to say that the sale of my mother's cottage has completed. I'm poised to leap (well, crawl) into action as I really want it all finalised - it's all taken far too long due to all sorts of Land Registry problems etc. I really need to move on now and get it all behind me.

Think I'll make a tuna pasta bake for this evening. Oh, I'd better go and set the breadmaker into action as well.
  • Morning everyone.

Been up since 5:30 with the baby. Can't moan though as he was really good yesterday and slept most of the day.

Managed to get a bridesmaids dress yesterday for my sisters wedding, and sort out some more christmas pressies. Also bulk cooked and got a couple of loads through the WM. Hopefully i can be semi-productive today, and then DH has a day booked off work tomorrow because we have got to take charlie up to the hospital for a jaundice check up, and then the cats to the vets for their booster jabs. Also thought we would squeeze in some more xmas shopping, and a food shop to make the most of our time. All go here. :o

Weather is rubbish here too. The cats were sat snuggled together on the doorstep waiting for me to let them in, and i had to dry them with a towel to stop the wet footprints all over. :rotfl: they are softies.

Plans for today - i'm supposed to be visiting my parents house to see my sister. At least that stops my house looking messy!

A very happy birthday to queenie, and belated birthday wishes for morlandbanks and dlbs daughter

    hugs all round,
    Michelle, xx

    Hello everybody,

Well I don't like to brag so I won't :D but we had a :silenced::silenced::silenced: day at the cricket today and we :silenced: the second test match. 4_1_203.gif

Didn't get to town today. I will go tomorrow. Decided to clean the house out & catch up with the ironing and odd jobs. Also trimmed a few shrubs that are out the front. You can now walk safely up the front path without the fear of spiders dropping on you. :D I also mowed.

The winds have picked up again so a lot cooler today. This is why I decided to do the above. Could change tomorrow and be hot as hell. I will be in an aircon shopping centre. ;)

Good luck Mrs A. I hope you do well.
Gin Gin 13_1_200.gifHave a great time.

Off to have a bit of a surf and to make some *lists to do* out.
Happy Birthday Queenie. I'm sure your boys will make it special for you. ;)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
