How do HO react to that? Do they offer rnr on that?
Do u hav to go to store to get your rnr after HO clear it?
Most of us have used OOD POS ....todays 2 for £16 Stella is an example.
As usual HO differs greatly in their reaction, depends on who you speak to, or how you conduct youself.
Usually you go back to the store for your refund, although HO do send cheques out as well.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

OMG calm down please, and write down some easy, recent, misprices from the other thread (but don't take your list instore if it doesn't look like a normal shopping list).
DVDs are mispriced in almost every store, just look for the ones mentioned but you must be sure what SEL or sticker you are looking for.
I notice you said earlier that Pampers are now scanning 2 for £10 correctly, not 2 for £12......but AFAIK the misprice with them was an OOD SEL saying 2 for £8....hence the need for a list if you are too stressed to memorise it all.
One of the easiest misprices has been available since September, worked for me again a week ago again so hopefully still a goodie......buy Pokemon or Open Season kids' annual, plus one other annual of your choice (both must have SEL or be stickered '2 for £8') and the offer does not kick in.
2 annuals free, R&R cherry popped, unless TE gets there first! But TBH Tesco have had 3 months to put this one right and haven't, except individual stores who have adjusted the tills or stopped selling the wrong 'uns!
:T P.S. Good luck!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you phone them they should sort it out straight away if it's clear you should have been refunded.
But why should it be a complaint? Often there is no need to approach it like that. In my case, I started in a friendly tone 'I have been asked to give you a ring by xxx store, who agreed I had been overcharged but told me they could only offer the difference in store....'
After that HO just wanted to know what the misprice was (in my case the offer was OOD but the yellow SEL had no date on it anyway) Then they phoned the store to tell them I would be back in for my refund.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

pataka wrote:does any one know if the 20 pound discount is applied manually at till like pressing a button to activate the offer or is it done by the system once the shopping amt reaches 40?
They have to press Y/N to activate the discount, I have tried this afternoon but even when the young lad pressed Y the discount didn't come off but he informed the man who bought the phone to the checkout who manually put the discount on, so no R&R, just as well Tesco's till wouldn't accept my card.0 -

I tried starting my phone call like this today, and they asked what the item was. When I told them their first response was to say that it was the manager's discretion so although I had been overcharged, there was nothing that I could do. I do think this bit of it comes down to luck, but I do agree that it's better to try and be friendly rather than complaining. Where you'll end up no one knows, but just stick to the facts. If that doesn't work, write a letter to the address on the first post and I am sure that will work, well fingers crossed
