Not sure if TS could do anything specific to get you that r&r, might be worth trying another store.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

i was thinking is that policy not part of contract when a customer shops at tesco?

it is an advertisment and commitment in the shop and TS should be able to force enforcement???

i want to thank you cosmic dust but there is no button :)

that post you pointed to is I think the way forward if HO refuse to honour the policy
  • Lovely story but............you have named your daughter, and the r&r and i would assume that's a nice little pic of your daughter on your avator.

Do I need an eye test or is his daughter a fish:confused:

manager said i will have to take it up with HO and he can only do 20 quid

If this is correct, this maybe the statement that wins your case.

"The manager told me he accepted it was an overcharge, but said I should get authorisation from HO, as all he could do was offer me the £20 I had been overcharged".
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Yep, this was exactly the way I put it to HO the one time I have had to phone them, they were fed up that the store had 'passed the buck' when they should have just refunded....there was no argument from HO that I should not get the refund and they phoned the store to tell them so.

Think carefully what to say before phoning HO is my advice, and leadhead's suggestion is good (maybe change it a bit in case the HO person who answers the phone has read this, lol!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
