Thanis.
Because they found out I had scanned the item before going to the tills, they deemed I was comitting fraud, refused RandR(which i later got) and banned me from the store.
2nd occasion....because he thought i was part of a conspiracy, and knew about the policy, after giving me(or rather HO did) the refund, he banned me from the store, and the security guard informed me it was also an area ban.
Never had any problems going to to any stores in the area, and have since had 1 RandR from one of the "banned ones"........but still feel "uncomfortable" in the other one.........maybe its because if I found a "biggie", I couldnt go for it.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I take it you'd already paid and gone to CS? If this is the case, the manager should have given you a refund. Leaving up an OOD SEL is a human error, still doesn't invalidate the claim against Tesco's policy. Did you accept the rescan, or did you leave the store with the phone and state that you would take it up with HO? Which phone was it (important, as some phones don't prompt the cashier to apply the discount, in which case it's a system error, not human error)? In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

This was a way of compensating the cost a bit!
I made a mistake, obviously.
Best bet if you want more than one or two of a mispriced item, unfortunately, is to find the misprice in more than 1 shop.0 -
pataka wrote:does any one know if the 20 pound discount is applied manually at till like pressing a button to activate the offer or is it done by the system once the shopping amt reaches 40?
As soon as a Tesco phone went through the till asked 'is £40 being spent on shopping' to which the operator had to answer 'yes' or 'no'.
Not 100% sure if its still the same.
Its always been used as an excuse though. Human error, policy doesn't apply!
Sometimes HO agree sometimes they don't, there is nothing rational about it.0 -
