    I have been buying a lot of CD's recently (HMV's £75 voucher offer with L6 motorola....) for a new year party. I am giving out adult party bags for all the girls that are coming over with a CD, chocolates, mini bottle of baileys and some other small gifts.

    This was a way of compensating the cost a bit!

    I made a mistake, obviously.

    does any one know if the 20 pound discount is applied manually at till like pressing a button to activate the offer or is it done by the system once the shopping amt reaches 40?

    Goes through automatically once other shopping Reaches £40.

    manager said it was human error that the offer didnt come through as they have to activate sumink on the till and offered to re-scan the items for me

    Tesco are currently doing 2 for £1 washing up liquid.

    The discount did not come off for me. Couldn't be bothered to take the receipt back, then totally forgot today. Just thought I'd mention it.
