anyone else apart from mcdonag had any luck recently with using clubcard vouchers ,that have already been converted online, in sainsburys?

Hi all, I have been overcharged 1p on an item, but the SEL expired 5/12/06. Cust servs are currently refusing to R&R.

I have spoken to the customer services desk at the store and they refused to honour the policy on the basis that the SEL was expired. I have spoken to head office, and they have referred the matter back to a manager at the store. I went in again and once again they refused to honour the policy.

Does anyone have any advice?

I have done all the sensible things (paid cash, didn't use the clubcard, had the rest of my weekly shop on the same receipt to make it look like a genuine misprice query rather than targeted R&R). But I think the store have me marked out as a "regular" as I have had an Xbox, Nokia 6111, various PS2 & PSP games, and annuals in recent months.

strangely they have not removed the expired SEL. If anyone can suggest a plan of attack it would be appreciated - otherwise I will have to go for the simple refund & return the item.
