Great news, what a relief for you, I can imagine your smile and your peace of mind and your physical sense of relief all between the lines of that post...its all a manageable challenge now that you are well up for and then what a difference there will be in your life once that cc debt has gone with the change in your attitude to money...well done and pleased for DS and DD too they have a tough couple of years x0

Thought I had better update in case anyone thinks I have shuffled off this mortal coil - noooooooooo just felt like I had - getting over a really nasty tummy bug which OH has as well so yesterday we had to take it in turns to go to bed whilst looking after the children including the foster child as his mother had cancelled due to a bug too although he is fine and the rest of the family thank goodness
Been trying to sort money out today and pleased to say we finished the month slightly in the blackso I was going to transfer that to the card that is due to finish its 0% this month and then balance transfer the rest but on closer inspection of the statement we have three special offers and only two of them are finishing this month and one doesn't finish until March 2012 so I need to wait until the new statement on Monday to see which ones they took the recent payment off hopefully it will be the ones finishing this month but as they are all 0% at the moment I can't be sure but either way I won't have to balance transfer as much as I thought
Once the balance transfer is done I can then concentrate on the two cards finishing 0% in Jan 12 and the extra payment we expect to get in October will more than clear one (so I will keep the extra amount in the offset account until January and clear that card) so just need to make a start on the other one but again I will keep the money in the offset to make the best use of it until January I really feel we have turned the corner as far as CCs are concerned I know we will have to do one more balance transfer in March as we won't have cleared the balance by then
but that should be the last one and we will be down to the last CC that's assuming I can get a transfer in March
Think that's all need to catch up with everyone now

So sorry you had such a nasty bug, and together too
still, it hasn't stopped you doing your thing with the credit cards - my brain would be (is) completely confuzzled when I'm not well. Hope today goes well for you

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
