Wednesday - pretty much done - could only face cleaning one third of the bay window in the bedroom as its completely horrendous and mouldy from the winter condensation waterfall  - so I'll do the next bit next week and the following week and then stay on top of it after that.

Jetbag I'm in awe of your window cleaning after my pathetic efforts, but in my defence they are steel framed Crittall windows with 15 little panes in each section and 8 sections to the bay. I did 2 sections.......

Snap we have the same with the same problem. I spent hours removing mould in the autumn. After 10 years we have bitten the bullet and are having ours replaced later this year.

    Not much flying achieved.
WM put through on clean cycle and cat bedding washed.

    Still tomorrow is another day.

    AJ hugs for you all

Vanilla I'd not run yourself ragged whilst your OH is away but instead stock up on some sleep reserves and chill out, if anyone deserves it you do

Went a walk to Tesco and got some veg plants that were on sale. Auntie got a new set of coasters that were price marked £5 for 1p we only noticed when we got home.

    Evening all

Well, its been another eventful day in the SSL household. I headed to the CAB this morning and there were loads of police and traffic wardens around. It turns out that some of the troops from the barracks have just returned from Afghanistan, so HRH DoY presented medals and took the salute as they marched through town. So as we were quiet in the CAB (more no shows, does my blooming head in!) the boss said we could go and watch the parade. We cheered and clapped and waved our flags. It looked like most of the primary school kids were there too, it was really lovely. DoY looked dead rough mind.

So, manager had a word with me when I got back. I didnt get the job that I interviewed for, I came second *groan* However, she gave me really good, useful feedback and we spoke about other jobs for me to apply for.

We've just finished tea and I need to do the biggest ever pack lunch in the world. Both OH and I are working the Election tomorrow, so we need to take food to last us from 6.30am to 10pm  As ever, I have bought too much food and have catered for around 10 people instead of 2. Never mind, it will all get eaten :p:o;)

I did 2 loads of washing before I went out this morning. I need to go and bring it in and possibly iron some too. Oh and water the veggies although I'm sure we've got rain forecast tomorrow.

AJ - sorry to hear about Roy. I'm glad it was peaceful in the end.

Jinky - squeeky bum time now eh? V surprising result tonight!

Please remember to fit in time to vote tomorrow. Maybe you should stick it on the list pigpen :D

Well I've somewhat fallen off the waggon today I'm afraid and not done much flying at all:( I have however done the weekly shop and watered the allotment, some of my crops have been caught by the frost so I'm a bit dissappointed . Hopefully they'll come back. I'm really tired tonight, I think an early night is called for :)

:TWow. I'm amazed at how much I've managed today with a little application. Posting up my toots list has really provided me with a fluffy mule.

    WM no.3 now on.
    Dinner in the oven
    Tomorrow's lunch prepared

Planning to de-gunge fridge before I go to bed tonight. Might try and do some sorting for filing. So much for the paperless age :rotfl:

  • aj - my thoughts are with you and yours.

Pink princess - how scary - agree with sexy mouse vinegar is the way to go - was an old tip from my MIL who had to put up with years of my FIL smoking

as for flying - I've achieved precisely ZIP today in the way of the tasks - I've had a very lazy day in the sun at a friends.

    I've done 1 x DW and 2 x WM though - and done a home cooked tea.

Any ideas how I can keep my ds(2) amused while I fly? Other than tv that is? It took me about 2.5 hrs on Tuesday to do the kitchen never mind anything else and my poor ds wasn't amused:eek:

Give him a damp cloth so he can help.. they can dust, wipe tables, pick up papers, put away toys and pans and shoes. A dustpan and brush or the vacuum cleaner... favourites in here..
