All clean clothes has been folded and put away, rubbish in the livingroom been binned. Took me awhile to figure out how to close the stroller but it's now down and ready to go out. Rhys now up from his snooze and need to do the school run in 45 minutes.
Right i think a HHC is needed in the livingroom...starting at 12.40 if anyone wants to join me...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Lots more shredding done, lunch made and scoffed. I stopped for food and started to feel awful...freezing and achy.
Going to have five mins with a cuppa and see what else I can do..HHC at 1:00? xx0 -
Hugs and spoons for anyone who needs them.
OHs dad passed away just before 2 this morning. We got a call from his sister about quarter to letting us know that he had taken a dramatic turn for the worst and that they were going in, I said we would too especially as we are closest. He had already passed away when we arrived which I am kind of glad about because it meant that no one made it in time and we all got to see him at peace instead. We had about half an hour with him before everyone else arrived which was nice. The nurses were amazing making him look presentable before we arrived and kept offering tea etc. We got home around 4 and although we went back to bed neither of us really slept properly again. It is nice to know he is in a better place now, OH seems ok but I am keeping an eye on him. We have both been in work today and we have a family meal later that was already planned. May doze in a bit so one of us is ok to drive later. Thanks for your wishes over the last few days x

Sorry to hear this, aj. You're quite right to ease up - take things steadily. xxx
I was supposed to start working again at 1:30pm - but I have mislaid some bacon. I know I got it out of the freezer - and it isn't back in there (I've checked) - but WHERE have I put it?
This is either a sign of approaching senility or an indication of how godawfully untidy this hovel is.
Or both. Probably both.
HOW can you lose a half-pound pack of frozen bacon in the space of 5 minutes?????? (Goes away muttering to herself....)

Lots more shredding done, and lots sorted ready to be done, 2 bags of stuff chucked, kitchen S+S'd and going to put the hoover round now and then chill for HH before the school run...xx0 -
I did a quick 5 minutes while the kettle boiled and have managed to tidy most things away that were in the wrong place, do a bit of shredding and fold some washing as well as a couple of bits on the list. Next job after my cuppa is the washing up, I am doing essential things for now.

Sitting room carpet. I stopped to read a headline in a newspaper lying on the floor and must have put the packet down.
Anyone know how to get a smokey smell out of a damp bit of carpet?
Thanks Piggers
