If you go to your polling station, your name should be on the list. If it isnt, you cant vote. You dont actually need your card.
AJ - so sorry to hear your news. Hope OH is all right. It's horrible losing a parent.
Will be flying today and also gardening. It's threatening to rain, so need to get some laundry out before it does and burn the rubbish in the garden from the bit I am clearing for veggies.Sealed pot challenge no 889: £143.96 saved :j

Rushes in....
Morning everyone.
AJ - So very sorry
I had a manic day yesterday and am going to treat myself to a trip to the running shop to get some double layer socks. My blister is improving but I still have a big problem with my IT Band aka runners knee.
DH cracked the whip last night and made the big uns empty their boxes in the utility room. It looks marginally better.
DS3 starts cricket tonight and DD2 has a friend coming for tea. I have lunchtime book club this afternoon so I don't think I will get much flying done. I must give the bathrooms a S/S so going to do that now.
I will try and catch up with the thread this evening if I can get DS1 off the laptop.0 -

Morning all. DD2 is having her daily clothing tantrum - her socks are too weird.
Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clear floors of guff and stuff
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks
GET YOURSELF OFF TO VOTE.. PEOPLE DIED FOR YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE!..you can't moan about the council if you don't get it done! quite right, polling card already in bag.
So far I have sorted some baby clothes, some to charity shop, some to save for smlsave in case its a boy.
Also removed nappy mountain from bedroom, changed cot sheet, collected dirty laundry, mad bed. Nappy changed and fed baby and self - not the nappy bit!
So although not on list, a fair bit done.
dehumidifiers - often the cause of dampness is a lack of extractor fans, quite often we need these to go with our modern bathing/showering/cooking habits. Also, read Jeff Howells the Rising Damp Myth...the dew point at which condensation forms depends on the air temp, so if a house is heated thoroughly, there is less water to condense out...costs though!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Good morning

I am working all day today, but it will be a much easier day than usual
I just have 1 boy aged 5 (the 6 yo that was 'ill' yesterday is at his nan's - school closed for elections) so at least they can't argue/fight. Might go to the park or visit a friend so he can have some company other than mine!!
I was most annoyed last night when I went in my bedroom to find the cat had chucked up on my freshly vacuumed carpet  so that had to be scrubbed before I went to bed! She had been stealing dog food again by the looks of it.
I plan to do a few bits when i can today, then finishing a bit earlier than usual :j Will probably take the dog to the nature reserve with the little man later. Washing up done and kitchen S&S this morning.
Catch up with you later

DD2 dispatched to school.
First part of the photography went OK-ish - there are 4 more hours next week and then all that's left is the AS exams_pale_:silenced: -we will cope but I could do without it!
AJ hugs on your loss - tis never easy to lose a parent.
Ruth - good to see you back!
Have been for my early morning walk so now it's time to get a shift on - washing needs hanging out and washing up needs doing.
Must clean the pit over the next few days - next week is ME awareness week and DD1 has arranged to give an interview to the local paper - so the reporter (luckily a mate of the last 18 years) and photographer are coming here on monday!
Last year she did an ME Management course that helped her enormously - the course had been running for years and 80% of those attending found they improved for attending. However she found out a few weeks ago that the course is a victim of the cuts - and is no longer running...... so she wants to raise awareness of this. One of the other people who did the course is coming to join in the interview so I had better get the hoover out and get the place shipshape.....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all, managed to get our room de-cluttered yesterday so at least thats something.
Had kids nearly ready for bed last night at 7 and then my mum rang to say she was coming up with Rhys's pressent. It seems to have rained all night and gives it to rain on and off until monday.
Plan today
1) get bathed and dressed
2) check online banking
3) go and see hubby
4) go and vote
5) do another online food shop, it cut me off last nightSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
