and on a positive note - DD1 will be voting for the second time today - last year we pushed her in the wheelchair ( we nearly demolished the booth as well) but this year SHE WILL BE WALKING THERE!:j:j:dance::dance:

I confess, I shall be using my chariot, but I shall most certainly be voting, although I think it's a question of choosing the "least bad" of the bunch, iyswim.

I seem to be having a groggy day again today, having been a bit better yesterday. Either I did a tad too much yesterday, or Dragon has been raiding my spoons!:D

*sigh* one of these days I'll learn to pace myself.....

I did try and get the spare room done as well as the bedroom yesterday, while I had the duster and polish in my hand, as I know I shan't have time tomorrow.

So.... a wee listy update, so that I can delete and see what's left. I'm ashamed to say it won't all get done this week.

I am still sooooo tired! I must have completely emptied every last piece of cutlery, gone on through the crocks and lost half the cooking pots, never mind running out of spoons.

Note to others - don't try and ever copy my bank holiday weekend escapades in cleaning, OK?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Afternoon all

Voted just after 7 am (before DH went to work). I've dried a line full of washing and put it away, cut the back grass - more tidied really, it's hardly grown this week and the front doesn't need doing at all.

Cleaned the bathroom/toilet. My study is my computer desk in the hallway and that gets done whenever I do the living room.

Nearly caught up, hope everyone's OK.

Very disciplined and stuck with the flying this morning. Just the family room to do downstairs now so I'll tie that in with some of the paperwork and washing the keys from my pc.

    Very disciplined
Chuck some of it my way, please.

Getting ready to go away for a couple of days - it's a trip I have done before, so know where I'm going and what will happen. So why am I faffing and flapping and footering around instead of sorting what I need to do?

    Need a list
Phone friend who has my spare keys
    Book taxi
    Charge netbook - DONE
    Charge ipod - DONE
    Sort books/papers
Pack overnight bag - some bits will have to go in tomorrow morning

Just got myself in a total flap (could feel panic rising - I do not want to go there again:eek:) I had lost a sheet of paper with train times on it. I must have gone round the house three or four times looking in the same places - then realised I had the same info on an email so could just print it out - dozy mare!
