Yayyyy I've lost another 2lbs this week. Did have a slight advantage in that I had a tummy bug midway through the week but on getting out of that I went a little mad when I was out - Costa cakes and McDonalds on the same day...not good!

Good to see you viktory (do you want the 4lbs registering on the group?)

Oh I am not around for three days by the way - back Monday night

Are you back yet Dragon??? Hope you had a nice weekend xo

I have lost another 1lb woo! :D I'm still low carbing and my appetite has really shrunk quite a bit. It is really hard sometimes and I have had a few slip ups with the odd piece of chocolate, but overall I am doing well and have managed to stay off bread, potatoes, pasta, rice etc, AND alcohol!

I feel very proud of myself. I reckon another week of this and I can start to slowly raise my carb intake, I still have quite a way to go! But this is giving me a really good kickstart. I'm determined to see it through this time and not waste the effort that I've made.

Well done to everyone on their losses, you are doing great! :T Keep it up xoxo

    Put on again!
    A gain of +2lbs!

I have had a quick look at my lunch today, as I made it.
The Lidl probiotic yogurt isn`t diet, the bread is wholemeal but not low cal, the veryTHIN sliced cheese isn`t low fat either!

Think I may have to got on a proper controlled diet!

I seem to be loosing inches - well cm in my case, so the walking is doing well. But the weight isn`t coming off, ( I`m not doing enough/ the type of exercise to increase muscle mass, so thats no excuse!)

I may be forced to join a club or something, which I am trying to resist, as I can`t afford it!

In my eyes, losing inches or even CM means you're doing well. Many things could attribute for that 2lb gain. Muscle mass? (even if you're only walking, your legs have some of the largest muscles) extra water weight from staying hydrated maybe?

I've found eating "low fat" foods just means eating very high sugar foods. What helps me is changing up what I eat. Eg: Fill a nice wholemeal roll full of ham/lettuce one day, then have a roll with soup the next. Then the day after that go back to a normal cheese sandwich. Having those few slices of cheese every 3-4 days isn't going to do much harm. Assuming you're being sensible with your other meals.
