I can understand why you would be upset, especially as they have swept the issue under the carpet rather than simply explaining to you why the post was edited. There could be a valid reason, but if no one tells you ...

I would post on the Site Feedback board - keep to the facts, just that you started a thread with (what most people took to be) an innocent comment and it was edited by the Team. Then, when you contacted them to ask why, they did not respond but instead deleted any further posts regarding the editing.

You're right, the OP has been edited again today! Really bizarre, and could so easily be resolved by a quick post of explanation.

i think its because they don't want a blue badge 20 page mud flinging match !

but this one was to point out that the rules had been changed to stop some of the blue badge problems / misuse . which would help all who need that wider space .
(whether from just not knowing all the rules or just don't care)

this is a good thing the rules have been changed,
this is not a bad thing that disabled need to worry about.

my b/b is my independence , the wide spaces are my independence ,
that is why i am so glad of the changes to stop "waiting" in spaces.

I'm working this evening and looking into what's happened here.

As you know, we do delete posts but don't edit (other than to posts that are being included in the weekly email to add additional info) so this shouldn't have happened.

The Forum Team members, ie Forum Team 1, 2, 3 etc don't have any presence on the forum - they don't post and their private messages are switched off so if you sent a PM they won't have received it. Any queries need to go to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com, which is what I believe you've done.

Could someone let me know which post numbers were deleted then reinstated please?

It is not the only thread it has happened on (both editing and random removal of posts) ...

post 1 was edited and that was my complaint.
but then there seemed to be alot of the posts on this thread changed and removed all posts asking about why it was edited dissapered
i don't believe this was a glitch or technical this was done by a person
