So why did you refer to the Terrorism Act? Plus, I'm guessing the Offences Against the Person Act doesn't exist in your world ...

As one of the 'trained' people that you referred to, this concept of status law is not one that I am familiar with.

Methinks you are making it up as you go along ... but you do make for jolly funny reading!

I can't see the beak finding it quite as funny though. He had better start saving...

I've got a question - if people were living in a camper van in your garden would you have to put them down too?

    Yes.

All people in a camper van in my garden would be put down as soon as they were spotted.

done with your telling off? Do you feel better about yourself now?

Yes I have seen the adverts but haven't paid attention to it because I wasn't interested in the least - not interested in giving some other people detailed info about myself. And I didn't think it was compulsory and that they even bullied you with the threat of a fine - infos about myself are mine to share if you allow me to say so!

So this is my explanation, hope it doesn't ruin your state of elatedness and perfection you have reached after replying to my post.

You mean you didn't notice the the "compulsory" and the "£1,000 Fine" bit, in big letters and numbers on the front page of the form?

Correct they have to have a name - someone they can prosecute.
Like the TV licence people. Never admit who you are, never say where you live! Just shrug your shoulders and walk away.

They can't issue a summons against a property nor can they issue one 'to the occupier' - there has to be a person!
If they wanted to be awkward, just give them the name of the dog - he occupies the property!

Almost every occupied residential property has some record of who lives there, it wouldn't be hard to find out who lives at your home.

The Television Licensing Authority has a record of who owns a television set. When you by any equipment which is capable of receiving live television broadcast, your personal details are recorded.

I hardly think it was detailed information. Am I male/female, black/white, when was I born, where do I work and how do I get there, pretty much it. Hardly secret that no one ever knew.

I've heard all the arguments from people wanting not to fill it in but I'd find it hard to believe anything else that it's just an excuse for some people to be difficult and trying to fight some wonderful morale battle for the little guy! But ultimately they're really trying to find some rubbish reason to be difficult.

Oh, but you don't need to, Flexrider has decreed! (Personally I'd do it online today, it's easier and quicker.)

Laugh. :D This thread had me in stitches. Must be a wind-up!
