Just Armtrac? Or Armtrac Security Services Limited? Or something else? This is quite important.
Precisely who was the ticket from, and who is named on the signs?
ETA: when I say "important", it doesn't matter so far as your ticket is concerned (still continue to ignore), but it matters if they are still purporting to be trading as a limited company, from a legal points of view.0 -
Sarah, thankyou so much for your help. x0

Today i recieved another letter from debt r. p. Reduced payment offer if paid within next 7 days. £104. Do you think d.r.p. would get a veiwing of my one and only reply that i sent to armtrac after they had sent me their 1st charge letter? What i am trying to say is that my reply was very well written [ i had professional help]. Armtrac seem to follow up a few of their threats but surely my reply if read by all would maybe make them not want to continue. I would be happy to show my reply to you , if only to get your views regarding my situation. regards.0

You got issued the ticket back in April, it is now December. If they had a case they thought they would win in court they would have taken you to court by now.
Carry on ignoring, they must need the money if they are digging up older cases0 -
What are you getting so worked up about? The charge is legally unenforceable so ignore. I make a habit of ignoring bogus car park fines and nothing has happened.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

So? They are just con-merchants and DRP are just debt collectors issuing template letters. Neither of them will care what your letter said; neither of them will have read it.
Why the heck would you get professional help to write a letter to a scammer who issued a fake, unenforceble PCN, and why on earth would you still be worried when DRP are just going through the usual letter-chain?
The template letters are all shown here (top thread, PPC letters). Look at any DRP links (any PPC) until you see 'your' letter:

I do hope you didn't pay for that wasted 'professional' letter you sent, it would be like paying someone to email a phishing email scammer back!
Please, please, start ignoring this scam like we all do every time we get one of these fake PCNs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
