Right, it ran the startup repair, restarted the computer and it loaded up but again took me to the login screen with "other user" as my only option.
Does this mean I have to do the DOS window reboot? and if so, how do I know which drive the CD drive is0 -

Picture? Try using the disc to run System Restore this time. There is still a possibility of a Rootkit infection.0

Ok. The pics should be there any minute now. Just a question? Won't a system restore just undo what I did with the repair (if anything)
Thanks (pics should be there since I waffled lol)0 -
also, added another two pictures to the photobucket that show the login to the advanced recovery/repair screen (its the screens before the square where the options for recovery, DOS, repair etc are)
i didnt get this before I had driver either, and so was wondering, it says login as user, (which would be Zmachine) and thats what I did. Checking that that is right????
havent told it to restore or anything yet tho. *waits*0
