    In the first pic, change the SATA Mode Select from RAID mode. Try each of the options to see if the PC will start.

    Start normally or start boot with the vista recovery dvd (ie do I take out the disc I have in)

    Ignore that. Can't change the SATA mode select from RAID mode. Can only change the Nvidia raid setup and enable or disable SATA 1st master channel, 1st slave channel and 2nd master channel , 2nd slave channel.

    What choices do you have under RAID Setup?

    i shall post a picture, 2 seconds (seems easier to picture it than to try to explain yes?)

    as to above post about the boot cd, am i supposed to use that? Im getting confused as to what route i should be following sorry again.

    The Boot CD is just another line of attack. Not needed yet.

    Thank you. Pic is up. Its under the nvidia setting tho as the SATA raid was greyed out for some reason
