Thanks, gettingready - I can feel a trip to Boots coming on! My little man is 15 years old; he's on a diet to lose weight, and has had 9 hydrotherapy sessions so far, and between the extra exercise and weight loss to date, I'd say it's taken about 3 years off his age so far.
Having lost my other little dog totally unexpectedly - at the age of 14 years 5 months - back in February, I want to do all I can to keep this baby fit and healthy.0 -
Boots have Ester C on offer - 3 for 2 , you never know, may help. I would try anythign for my girl....0

Is she still doing well GR, and how about your friend's dog?0
-
have not heard from my friend about her dog yet - another forum...LOL
Zara is doing fine, so far so good.
I have 2 boxes of seraquin left, Paddypaws - you mentioned something about another type of glucosamine, what was that?
Zara was on seraquin for such a long time, perhaps time to change for something different?0 -
Just seen an update from my friend, her GS boy is much better too, she says he even jumps onto beds again (was nto able before), is not tired after long walks etc. She started him on Ester C the same day when I started Zara, he is on 2000mg per day as he is similar weight to Zara.....0

my mum's sheltie had really bad arthritus, spent a fortune at the vets, then brought a magnetic collar, the change in the dog after fitting it was amazing, im a total skeptic and have no idea why it worked but it definatly did0

Oi!! You are supposed to be saving money, remember
I tried at least 3 different brands of glucosamine ( think Cortaflex was the one I mentioned to you ) but TBH, none of them really made much difference until I added the Vit C0 -
Yeah I am saving money but NOT at the cost of any of my furbabes health.... :P
Seriously, I never felt Seraquin was making any difference to Zara either, will look at Cortaflex...thanks a lot0 -
But the cortaflex did not do a lot for nellie either! Stick with what you have for the meantime...it's working after all!0

I know but as I am down to 2 boxes (60 tablets each so 120 tablets - Zara has 4 per day so 1 month supply left) I am already panicking as hate to run out of things for my furry family...0
