oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh I am cross. Livid in fact! Just got of the phone to Royal Mail and apparently, Mr Sainsbury, Mr Insurance Company, Mr Bank Manager and all of the others who send me letters which contain confidential information about myself have to send their letters by a trackable way otherwise they just aren't interested when they go missing. I am missing three letters (insurance, statement, and one from HR). I know that letters go missing but I keep being posted letters for my nieghbours and others in my area by mistake. The bloke on the phone got a bit arsy when I told him that the letters that are missing aren't ones that I have requested so how am I to blame when they aren't trackable. What a g1mp! So yeah, if my identity is cloned I guess that is all my fault, too!

Still in the black but only just!

I was paid today *happy dance*

I am still in the black but I need to wait a couple of days until I know what my balance is as I paid for a couple of things on my bankcard. I have also paid my gas, leccy and CC bill.

I am off work for the summer holls but, as luck would have it, I am diseased and my voice has gone. Some might say that is a good thing but my head is killing me and I am devoid of energy. Ho hum!

I must try and make as much extra money as I can though - surveys and ebay. Will have a signiture to chart my progress.

My house needs cleaning but my sofa is too comfy! halp!

Corr, I have done nothing but haemorrhage money this month. My fella is taking me on holiday tomorrow morning and all it seems is though I have done nothing but spend, spend, spend. I didn't buy too many new holiday clothes - only a few pairs of shorts and sandals (all on sale). It's those new things, spending money and everything else have just taken me out of my comfort zone.

My cats aren't going into a cattery - a friend of mine is moving instead. I have stocked up the fridge and drew some money out of the bank. They will be much happier at home.

Thankfully, I get paid shortly after we come home - woohoo!

Oh yeah, we should go away more often because my home has never been so clean!

Hope you have a lovely holiday! Great that you can get someone to come and stay with your cats; we had to put ours in when we went away and it cost £130. I suppose we had peace of mind though that they were safe and fed.

Looking back i wish i never spent so much on clothes for my hols. My justification at the time was that i would be able to wear them when I got back as well, well due to the crappy english weather they have not seen the light of day in england yet!

Pay day for me soon too then I will be out of the OD finally, yippee!!!

  • I had a brill holiday thanks :) It was really, really nice - hot and sunny all the time :) Lovely hotel, lovely company *squee*

Landed with a major bump when we got home though. I was paid last week and now I have less than £100 to last four and a bit weeks - eek!!! I have been landed with an incredibly unexpected and unbudgeted bill and now I am suffering. I. Am. Not. Going. To. Use. My. Overdraft!!! Basically, in a nutshell, my cat was run over and I have been given a one way ticket to skintville until the insurance company pay up. As I have several *insert any number here* check-ups I cannot spend a penny. My poor bundle of fluff has been incredibly lucky though - it could have been so much worse.

Anyway, I have plenty of food in but I do need petrol. My spending diary is up and running and I made a fiver on a survey today - the first in an age. I have a few quid in my paypal account. Not much though. As soon as the fiver goes in I will have to move it to my bank account.

On the plus side, I have enough money for all of my bills. Must remember that positive snippet esp when turning down social invitations.

I wonder if I have anything to ebay??

My poor cat has a broken pelvis and, whoever knocked him down, left him! :( The s0d! I am sooooo glad that I have insurance though. The bill was huge and I have a few more bills to come :( Still, his health comes first. I'm just glad that my food cupboards are full!

yes, he is our baby of the bunch. We had been looking for him but we couldn't find him anyway. We were just chatting and lo and behold he came home looking very sorry for himself and in absolute agony.

They said that it will take between 14 and 21 days but we have had a bank holiday so it might take a bit longer.

I haven't spent anything today so that is two no spend days on the trot. I'd love tomorrow to be another one as well but I have to drive into town for a meeting and will have to pay for parking.

I stopped in all day and tried to entertain my wounded soldier by hiding bits of ham in balls of screwed up paper. He seemed to like having something to do and is now sleeping.

Had no surveys to do but I did do one for shop and scan and was given 500 points for my trouble - yay!

My house is a tip at the minute but I can't hoover as the noise frightens my cat and he can't run upstairs. Mind you, I would have much prefered him telling me to lay off the housework for a while in a way that didn't involve broken bones and mega vet bills!
