A diary of a wonky tiara wearing domestic goddess, aged 21 and **a bit**

Today is **going** to be a No Spend Day and, to reinforce that, I am staying in my jimjams all day long! I haven't spent much but I have only had one other NSD since I was paid on Thursday (which seems like a million years ago). Four weeks until payday - seems like an eternity **le sigh**
I'm on my tod today as my chappie is working on his house and the football is on later.
Jobeth for todayeth:
+rebuild the mini greenhouse I bought. One tiny breeze brought the damn thing crashing to the ground. It was only a cheapy £15 one from ASDA but £15 is money that could have gone towards the debts. I bought some glue to repair it and the sides are drying already. The glue stinks to high heaven though.
+pay the gas and electricity bill. It wasn't as much as I thought and my tutoring money and the extra £100 in my bills account will cover it.
+survey, survey, survey!
+ebay some tat
+clean the kitchen and bathroom:jOverdraft = Gone!! (24/6/11)

Hiya
Love your diary so far, I had £6000 of debt last year which I got down to £1k, I was just so determined. That £1k is now about £500 but I have had problems with work so think I'm going to get into a wee bit more debt so I can pay my bills. Hey ho
I gave up with my mini greenhouse after it got blown to bits, still find parts of it scattered about the garden almost a year later!0 -
Hiya doodle, I think that I was posting on your old diary? (correct me if I am wrong!) The story sounds familiar......
I did the same as you at first where I underestimated my debts, it never seems as bad when you don't know about it!
I think you are doing really well considoring you are running your house all on your own, I share the bills and still find it hard to budget for the month![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59
Pay off all debt by xmas 2014 #136 £1552.41/£3905

BINGO!! You star!I thought that the old one was too gloomy and depressing what with what went on and all that jazz. A fresh, more positive journal, should keep me on the MSE path.

I have glued half of it together but have managed to lose two parts to it (how???!) so it might be meeting the greenhouse maker in the sky a tad sooner than expected.
Well done you! I'd love to be able to shave 5.5k off in a year. That's brill. I often think that work would be far easier if our bosses paid us to stay away:jOverdraft = Gone!! (24/6/11)

Haha I was skim reading so I didn't even realise you had started a new diary at first and I was thinking.. that is so strange someone else has a very similar story!!
Yea I know what you mean it can all get a bit samey and depressing but hey isn't that life! I think I winge a lot on mine.
Keep going I will be following on again, just think how far you have come and at least now the weather is nicer its not all that depressing![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

oooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh back to work tomorrow
I wish that I was paid to stay away lol
Just had a fantastic few days off with my fella. We did chuff all but it was a much needed chuff all.
Just need to finish a lesson plan and nip to the shops before we go out for tea with friends tonight.
I don't know when my chappie is next taking some time off work - prolly over summer so he is back to being a PT fella. He works mega hours so I don't get to see him as much as I'd like.
We went shopping a lot but I didn't buy anything despite seeing lots and lots of lovely things. I did buy a few things for the garden but nowhere near as much as I wanted to! Roll on being DF!
Hope that everyone had a lovely break as well:jOverdraft = Gone!! (24/6/11)
