    GOALS FOR JUNE

First of all, how the hell can we be one day from June already??! It seems like it was only yesterday when my little car and I were sliding everywhere in the snow and ice.

    okay, my goals!

    1. To get below the one thousand mark BEFORE payday on the 25th. I have some second job paydays so it *should* be possible.
    2. Complete all surveys the evening I get the invitation.
    3. Not to give up on shopandscan.
    4. Repaint the living room. It needs replastering but I can't afford to have that done right now. I am sick of staring at bare plaster so it can be ta rted up.
    5. To keep on top of the housework.
    6. To beat last months 8 NSD.

Been painting the living room today and, after two baths, I still feel filthy. I need to buy another pot so the room will be done tomorrow - hooray!

I also deposited a bag of money box coins and a cheque (expenses) into the bank today so that is another £25 quid off the CC debt. Whilst there, I asked about my overdraft. It is a decreasing OD but it ends in July and the 'bank manager' couldn't alter it. I was glad about that tbh as he seemed to be a dimwit. He couldn't get the computer to work. Anyway, I have to find the £400 to pay it off so I will have to ease off on the CC repayments. I should be ok but chappie wants to go on holiday and I need to find the funds to renovate my house and then there is my car ... oh it never ends!

I have a survey to do tonight and I need to check my bank account.

Made £2.00 on a survey tonight. Only another £4.80 to go and then I have enough to claim a tenner. I also received a parcel today of toothpaste to try. I went through my bathroom cupboard yesterday and I am shocked to type that we don't need any smellies and shampoo for *a while*

Not done much in the name of moneysaving. I moved some money from my savings account to my account with the overdraft as my car had to go to the garage. The repair bill was only a few quid so I have decided to keep the money there to go towards the dreaded OD. The next few weeks are going to be really hard for me as I need to train my brain into accepting and understanding that overdraft money is not my money to spend. I have been living in my OD (minus the odd year here and there) since my uni days so it is going to be quite an arduous task! I will get there ... I hope!

This means that my debt is £650 (not including the dreaded bank loan - which reminds me, I am due my annual statement. Have had the flipping thing for two years now. I don't notice the payment coming out of my bills account but it has to go. I am not paying *that* amount of interest!)

This week, I must keep my spends to the bare minimum. I must, I must, I must reduce my debt!

    Jobs for the week:
+packed lunch everyday (back at work - boooo!!!!!!!!)
+limit my time wasting time on the internet
    +do all surveys
+ensure that the sink shines before I go to bed!

Just done the internet banking. This is a job that never gets any easier! I should, I hope, have £50 left over in my bills account once everything has come out. This will come in handy for my winter fuel payments. The more I put to one side now, the easier it will be.

I went to Morrisons after work and I have scanned all of the barcodes (shopandscan). I have decided to buy saving stamps to go towards Christmas. I used to do this in a former life with an old love and really enjoyed it as it meant that I never had to fret about the festivities. Oooohhhh I was really domesticated back then! lol What happened?!

My second job starts again tomorrow and I have work on until the end of July. I am hoping that the tax man recoups as much as possible. If not, then half will go on the CC bill and half into my savings account. I have four paydays this month *big grin* Six the month after and then it is back to one :(

Jeez, my head hurts. Anyhoo, time for a quick tidy and pack my bag for tomorrow.

I worked my second job today. They only need me for five weeks now, not seven as originally intended. That's ok. I'd have liked to have earned the extra cash tbh but hey ho.

I really need to sort out my evenings because I fritter too much time. Ironing needs doing and I need to put some things away but I can't be bovvered!

Fell off the bandwaggon this week. Because I moved some money over to my spends accout, my available balance was greater than it normally was so I have had an overwhelming urge to shop til I dropped this week. I ended up spending £80 in TK Maximuss and made two trips to the supermarket. Yes, I bought a lot of things with yellow stickers and BOGOFs (only those items that I use). I really don't know how to address this. I know that I do much better when I have a small available balance. My overdraft is being removed a few days after July payday (the terms on my decreasing OD end then). Maybe I should move as much as possible to my savings account, and a few days before July payday, move it back. That way I won't be tempted to be silly. I think that I will do that.

Still doing the surveys and shopandscan :)

Was mega happy this morning. I got a set of four £8 off a £40 shop from Sainsbury's - yayyy!!!!!!!! I used to get the ones for a £60 or £80 spend which are ridiculous. I love getting decent vouchers in the post :)

    Today I must ...

    do in the internet banking
pay some more of the CC
    tidy up
    iron
    go to the gym

IKWYM about the spending urge, this month I had more money in the account too due to having a hen weekend planned and allowing myself a few new clothes. However I have ended up nearly spending the lot, and after all those months of being so good! But it was so great to have some money for a little while and I did not add to the debt.

I always get the £4 off £20 vouchers from sainsburys! I think it is because I hardly ever shop there and only spend a little amount. I love it when they come through the door!
    [STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Pay off all debt by xmas 2014 #136 £1552.41/£3905

    Additional money made 2014 £88.50

I would love the £4 off a £20 shop! I defrosted my freezer the other week (a ruddy awful job) and I have plenty of room left so I can stock up.

Hen parties are such fun. I hope that you had a fab time :)

Went to Costco today and stocked up on tins of tuna, chopped tomatoes and a few other things. I really like Costco but I really could do without some of the customers. Jeez, you would think that the world is coming to an end! It's all pushin' and a shovin' and leaving there ruddy trollies in the middle of the aisle - urgh!!

    Anyway, goals for the week:
    1. Packed lunch every day.
    2. Eating courtesy of the freezer all week.
    3. Sainsbury's shop later in the week - must write a proper shopping list and not leave it at home.
    4. Go to the gym a minimum of three times.
    5. Take the recycling.
    6. Post expenses form.
    7. Pack bag before bed.
    8. 10pm bedtimes.
    9. Be tidi(er)
    10. No wasting time on-line.

I get paid from my second job this Friday. Hopefully, the tax man will shave some of the tax I owe away. If not, then half will go off the CC and the remainder will go into my savings account.

My furbabies have perfectly good beds but, whenever I sling my coat on the sofa when I get home from work my boy curls up to sleep on it. I can leave my pjs or a t-shirt on my bed and my girl will always sleep on it. They are funny little things.

Work has been ok. I'm going to force myself to go to the gym in a bit. I need to clear my head - my mums illness is getting worse and the chemo has, yet again, failed. We live in such an effed up world ... so cruel. So very cruel. I'm glad my fella isn't here. My best friend offered to come over but I need to be on my own. I will only end up snapping and saying horrible things to people who mean a lot.

I ate courtesy of the freezer tonight. I am glad that I took something out to defrost otherwise I would have eaten nothing. Just sat, moped and gone hungry.
