I do not know who you are mate but i can assure you that los pandos is nothing more than a ponzi scam. The architect behind this scam is Mr Terry Wright who has been working illegally in the uk getting nieve people to cash in their pensions to invest in this tripe. If you are indeed a legitimate investor and you do not mind waiting for years on end for a return on your money..that is up to you. To state that a non return on investment is satisfactory because it is in a SIPP in utter rubbish. Martin & Clews have no money which is why they have not returned any investments and have no intention of doing so. You can defend the company all you want but your comments as sound as dodgy as the rest of the rubbish I have read from Martin & Clews. Mike Clews cannot even be found. If you are indeed a legitimate investor good luck with your views but its you that will end up looking the fool.0

But given the ridiculous accusations over the project at Los Pandos, together with the personal attacks upon the Directors of Martin & Clews Consulting, I felt it was necessary to present the facts about this project, and those who run it, for the benefit of all of the other sane investors who may be concerned over the nonsense that has been written previously on this site by a relatively small number of misguided individuals.
When it comes to uncovering scammers and fraudsters, I have personally been on a crusade for many years to help expose those who are responsible for them. On the basis of the FACTUAL information I was able to provide, the BBC (Inside Out) and Channel 5 (Cowboy Builders) have produced programmes in 2010 and 2014 respectively, that have accurately portrayed the antics of some unscrupulous developers operating outside of the UK but within Europe. So I should like to think that anyone reading this blog would appreciate and understand that I am definitely not on the side of developers as a rule.
In the case of Los Pandos, however, it most definitely is NOT a scam.
In total, I have made no fewer than a dozen trips to both the Marbella (marketing branch, now closed) and the Altea (technical branch) offices, over a period of 7 years, in stark contrast to some of the individuals on this site who blatantly refuse to seek the facts by making the effort to board an aircraft and pay a visit to meet with the Company officers, its team of architects and administrators, speak with the local politicians, see the documentary evidence supporting the commercial planning proposals, and, finally, view the vast area of land known as Los Pandos where the vineyards are situated and there is a working farm.
During these various trips, I have been accompanied by a number of guests, including a professional IFA, accountant and business journalist, all of whom then made an informed decision to invest into the project based upon their own research and findings.
I myself have invested in two previous investment opportunities with M&C at Los Pandos and have always been repaid on the due date. I am not alone as members of my family and close friends have also invested and had their monies returned to them.
Now I'm also fully aware that not everyone has been as fortunate and received the return of their investment on time. Indeed, I have a substantial amount still invested in Los Pandos with my own SIPP which was due to have been repaid 2 years ago.
Rather than jump to ridiculous conclusions, as some who have written on this site appear to have done, I contacted the Company about the situation and was given a perfectly rational explanation for the delay in returning my funds. Based upon my own conclusions, I was more than happy to merely extend the investment period. After all, as it is pension money, I'm unable to cash it in and utilise it until I reach 55.
As anyone who understands anything about property development would appreciate, a developer must first obtain full planning permission for his proposals and he will only make a profit once the project (with full planning permissions) can be sold onto a third party, usually a construction company.
To draw a simple analogy, it is no different to someone selling their home having obtained full planning permission for an extension. With planning permission, the property has gained a lot more value and will fetch a much higher price than without.
And so it is with Los Pandos; the land was purchased by M&C in 2007, with just agricultural permission, but now, having gone through many, many stages in the planning process which a project of this complexity necessitates, it has gained a huge amount in value and, so I understand, The Company is now involved in advanced negotiations with a number of parties who will be part of the Construction process. Once these negotiations have been concluded, and a price agreed, the Company will then have the cash to repay its investors within the very near future.
My latest visit to the site was in February 2015 when I was also accompanied by 3 others. Not only were we privileged to meet and speak with the Deputy Mayor of Alamansa about the Project, in his private offices, but we were allowed to inspect files containing the planning documentation on the project, details of which have since been put into the public domain available for anyone to view.
Yes, the Company freely admits that for a short period of time there had been a lack of communication with some of its investors, for which it sincerely apologises, but from February 2014 there have been regular detailed updates issued to all investors that have provided us with a clear, chronological summary on the huge progress being made in the planning process.
So, in summary, before making unfounded accusations, allegations and dubious defamatory comments in a public forum such as this, anxious investors should make the effort to visit the Company and see the facts for themselves. Indeed, it is just plain common sense but, sadly, it would appear, that not everyone who writes in these forums is blessed with much!!!
Well, I'm sold. Where do you want me to send the money to?0 -

Me, care of the Nigerian ambassador, randomhotmailaccount@hotmail.com - shall we start at £5,000? You have made these sorts of investments before? Good, now all you need is courage and belief :rotfl:0 -
Amazing how many one-post wonders come onto these sort of threads to defend whatever the current scheme in question is being debated - and then disappear, never to be seen again.0

With all due respect, I am not your 'mate' and have no desire to become one! Clearly you don't understand what a 'ponzi' scheme entails so let me enlighten you. A 'ponzi' scheme is based upon the recycling of money from new investors to repay existing ones so that those who pay last never see a return of their money.
Los pandos is not a 'Ponzi' scheme because it is underpinned by a real and tangible asset which has a substantial value because it has now acquired full planning permission for a commercial and logistics platform. In a true 'Ponzi' scheme there is never an asset underpinning an investment. In a real scam, the scammers never contact their victims once they have extorted money which is most clearly not the case with Martin & Clews.
So, let me ask you one question: Have you ever paid a visit to meet the company and see the Project? If not, why not? Or is the case that with such overwhelming evidence available to prove that Los pandos is not a scam you no option but to maintain this ridiculous stance just to save face?
Of course , if you wish this situation to become a self-fulfilling prophesy for yourself, you won't be too concerned if your investment return be donated to charity when all the other investors have received theirs. After all, you appear to have written it off so you have nothing further to lose!0 -
Madoff was a Ponzi scheme, and he had billions in assets.....just not as many millions as his liabilities. He also took money multiple times off his victims. He also repaid early investors.
Sound familiar?illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Sound familiar?
M&C own this asset (I've seen the evidence) and in many cases, so I understand, the investments have been registered at the public notary (again, I have seen the evidence).
So perhaps someone on this site should explain just how M&C appear to somehow involved the various public notaries; the local, regional and national authorities; the banks; not to mention their many business partners (I have seen the evidence that they exist and act on behalf of M&C), in their 'scam'? Are all these parties involved in some huge conspiracy to defraud? I think and know not.
It is important to differentiate between where there has been a genuine reason for a delay in the return of monies to some investors and where a Company has no intention of returning this money.
As any historian would no doubt support, if you want to get to the heart of a matter you need to examine the evidence in detail and then make deductions based upon fact and not tittle tattle. I have devoted a lot of my time into getting to know the true facts based upon unequivocal eveidence presented to me on many different occasions; it just saddens me that there are some individuals on this site who prefer to live in blissful ignorance and who don't want to make any effort to discover the truth.0 -
"Self fulfilling prophesy"? its eduardo martin...its a phrase he has used countless times to me..utter giveaway....anybody notice how defensive he became when people started questioning his motives?
I have today received information from a Spanish contact concerning the companies Mike Clews and Eduardo Martin are responsible for as directors:-
Eduardo & Mike
Heredad Los Pandos
Dominio Los Pandos
Martin & Clews Consulting
The Wild Wolf Company
Mike (alone)
Caboalto Estates
Eduardo (alone)
Marxabia
Rushcliffe Management Services
I have also received the report filed against Eduardo & Mike that contains a seal from the Spanish Police. They are being investigated by the Economic Crime and Anti Corruption Division in Alicante. I have contacted them directly to confirm this.0 -
Some people who post here re garding Los Pandos need to be aware that a lot of people who have invested are in touch with each other out side this forum and on a regular basis. We share information and also I have been in touch with someone in Spain who has carried out a lot of research in to Los Pandos.
I have openly posted a private email address on this forum so people can contact me without fear of reprisal or threats of legal action.
I have the same as glandring, also been threatend with legal action over information posted and investigations that have been made in to Los pandos.
If you have invested in Los Pandos youve every right to be concerned.
At this time I am along with another investor trying to verify a ongoing court case in spain.
This whole situation is very tangled and takes quite some unraveling. That is slowly happening. But it is taking time to gain facts. And thats the dificult part. Its the facts that matter. Its taking hours of internet research and talking to people. I have also been priveliged to see other documetation regarding Los Pandos. I think we should all be careful of what we post here. From my own position as an investor I am very concerned about Los Pandos. another update has been sent from Martin and Clews stating nothing new!0
