Yes, that's right. They locked themselves up. People like you...I just wish I could lock you up for even one day just so you can see what it's like....
...your 'I don't care what the circumstances are' attitude is half the problem with this country.
What the person did was totally wrong - fullstop.
Going widely off topic - but are you suggesting we take the law into our own hands ?
Are you saying that I should turn a blind eye in certain circumstances ?
And you think it is me that is the cause of the problems in this country
Still - no need to reply at all, because this has nothing to do with your issues over your package in the sorting office....“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
I really hope this medication arrives soon, the OP is going radio rental on all the vent threads......and what sort of fool gets medication through the post.....0

I'll forgive you this, as you have probably not read my first post. Who has?! Anyhow, in it I state that I am disabled. ie. I cannot get to the post office. Which I told the post office man, which he laughed at (my not being able to get there, not my being disabled). Comprende?
can you not ask a friend to take you so you can pick it up, is the PO or where ever it is far to get to
in reply to your thread title, if RM go bust then i cant see another firm coming in to do it for free or cheaper than rm does it for0 -

I didn't, which you'd know if you'd read all of it. But who would? I wouldn't. That last one is the only one like that. The others are all nicely sane and short, and spaced out over more than a week, some in reply to their own answers. You jumped to conclusions.MisterBrico wrote: »They attempted to deliver you the parcel as contracted, usually when I get a card I just go pick it up, I only payed for one set of postage?
No. On their site (jeez repeat repeat repeat) there is a redeliver service. It's free. Read previous posts if you can be bothered. I can't be bothered to repeat myself here.
I can't go and pick it up because I am disabled. Yes, I told them that already.MisterBrico wrote: »Also claiming phoodles is in any way bad/wrong for giving a testimony in a court about some guy wielding a big knife in the streets is bad and sympathising with the guy who had the knife, would it still have been good had he hurt someone or gone on to hurt someone. Plus it was a jury of the offenders peers who sent him down not phoodles...
I did not sympathise with the guy with the knife. I specifically stated that I knew nothing about it so could not say one way or another. You don't know any more than I do what the circumstances were. I never said phoodles 'sent him down' either. All I said, and I say it again, is that it is very dangerous to tell the police anything about anything when you don't know all the facts. I was not, and am not, refering to phoodles here. What I am referring to is the general case where people run off at the mouth and say 'I saw X'. The police will use that to paint whatever picture they like. What if you ran out onto the street with a big knife because you saw something out of your window? Are you an 'offender'. Ok, that's contrived. What if someone raped your wife and you stabbed them with a knife. What sentence would you desire? Would you expect to be let off? Or would you be one of those let 'justice' handle them people? What if you let justice handle them and they get off? What if, heaven forbid, the person with the knife thinks different to you, and decided that they wanted to handle it that way? What right do you have to gainsay them? Are you aware that it's not even illegal to carry a knife in 95% off the world? Only in this country and a handful of other police states is it illegal. So, consider: what if this person came from one of the other 95% and didn't know? People are oh so quick to jump on anyone and everyone else for anything and everything they do that someone in government house has ruled illegal. This whole knife point is besides the point for me. I'm really talking about the right to do whatever the hell you want. It's supposed to be a free country. If, and only if, you cause harm should you be punished in the way this person he was referring to was. Did he? We don't know. He could have lost six months of his life because he got a little drunk and waved a knife about. Do you think that's fair? Really. If you do I pity you.
As for the jury of the offenders peers stuff. Ha ha ha. Would you want to be judged by your peers? By me!? I'm your peer.MisterBrico wrote: »Tbh you sound like someone who isn't very nice and is slightly detached from reality
Nice? Are you nice? What's your average person? They'll con everyone and everybody out of anything they can at all times. Builders. Lawyers. Make your own list. They buy anything they want without any thought where it came from, despite being told repeatedly that it came from a sweat shop, rainforests, whatever. If you tell anyone they are wrong they attack you verbally, whatever your own approach or the right or wrong of it. If you buy anything from anyone, a car, a house, anything, they will 'forget' to tell you the faults and try to get as much money as they can from you regardless of what's fair. This forum is full of people telling of this company or that person or mothers with babies even, crapping all over other peoples needs and feelings. Nice?! I don't think I'm the one detached from reality.0 -

Ha ha ha. Once again I'm touched by the kind feelings emitted by my fellow man. Let's have a good laugh.
My medication is pain relief after loosing my left leg. Ha ha ha. Let's all have a laugh at the spac.0 -

To be honest I don't think its fair, in fact I don't think that 6 months is enough, if you are not planning on using it, why take it out and break the law?
Saying that, I have no problem with your postie carrying a knife, just in case....0
