Sooner Royal Mail goes bust the better

With each post it is becoming ever more obvious
The op is a .......
albeit a one legged one.0 -
Yes, see, I don't explain my points very well do I? The phone I called on was my friends, and that was when? Saturday? And there won't be another visit from them until next weekend.
Ok - I understand now.
Can you not use Skype or another internet based telephony service? All you would need is a mic / headphone? (EDIT: And credit to call a landline of course - not sure of the cost of credit on Skype)
EDIT: lol - loztiggy beat me to it.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
if you would rather complain about the Post Office (as opposed to calling the royal mail numbers I gave you above who would probably arrange the redelivery to your property) about the conduct of its employee at the sorting office their site says "Call us on 08457 22 33 44*. Lines are open from 8.15am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am - 2.00pm Saturday."
Hopefully contacting one of the two will get them moving to get your medication to you.
I dont know about your particular reasons for getting medication posted to you, but a lot of pharmacies now will collect from your doctors and deliver for free, My local lloyds pharmacy is fantastic, they bring me mine weekly, at the same time on the same day each week, and its totally free. Perhaps that might be a solution to this happening again? Presuming there is one locally to you and its sutiable for you.
I simply didn't think of getting someone else to deliver it. It's too new to me. Heck I still try to walk on two legs and fall over. I'll try this next time. Meanwhile I'll order some more over the internet until I can use my friends phone again - then I'll call the local pharmacys. Thanks.0 -

Sorry, but there was no need for that.
And I don't think the OP is a troll - just very angry with the situation and has very limited options in what they can realistically do about it.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -

I'll have to get them to look at this too. Not sure I understand how that works.
Sorry to those I offended.
I'm going now because I'm getting quite upset again. #98 etc is not nice, even if I do deserve everything I get.

Is anyone else slightly disturbed by the notion that the OP is self medicating with painkillers bought over the internet? That is what all this is sounding like to honest, surely if it was medication from the doctor, they would be going some way in helping to get it delivered?0

In my opinion Lloyds are fantastic for their prescription delivery service, and say for example you notice one night you dont have enough if you can contact them quickly they will bring you more the next day. Make sure you advise them when they need to bring you your meds (ie x amount of x weekly/monthly) as they usually ring me and ask what i need bringing this week.0

The OP isnt necessarily self medicating, as far as im aware there are "online Pharmacies" where you post your script off, pay and then they come in the mail. I use one for my dogs meds, but I know there are human ones too. Perhaps its cheaper for the OP to do this than pay the extortionate NHS prescription charge per item were saddled with in England? I know its over half cheaper for me to get a prescription from my vets and then use an online pharmacy than get the meds from the vet0
