I notice there is bacon here and you said it has been confirmed. Have looked on the SS for it -- did you submit a form please?

I've had the smoked streaky Finest bacon confirmed, too. Couple of days ago. Goes well with Finest sausages for a BBQ Easter breakfast!

I think the only reason Mr T's looks cheaper at certain times is because they suck you into the multideals. Just buy one item and I reckon Asda would be cheaper on most things.

Not sure about that. I always use Tesco. Asda is too far away & I don't like a lot of their stuff anyway. When I do an online shop at mysupermarket, Tesco usually always comes out cheaper for me. Nothing fancy, I generally buy a lot of own label stuff.

When you take away the targetted items in the price comparison, it's swings & roundabouts as to which is cheaper. More often than not they are the same.
Generally all supermarkets have their loss leaders & offers, it just depends on what you usually buy I suppose.

I am just wondering what does this rack of lamb look like please? I get so confused with all types of meat, but I think hubby would love some lamb, but knowing me I will get the wrong one. Is it in a box , packet etc please?

It's here. Happy looking farmer smiles down on label which says £25 a kilo. You will fall through the floor at how small a piece you get for your money, but the voucher makes up for that. It's the best possible lamb and tastes wonderful. Don't overcook it!

    sheer_vanilla that's brill :D:D

Killed two vouchers tonight, haven't done a DTD shop  in a few days so will try and get a few in tomorrow. Bit bored of it now but am loving the vouchers to spend on other stuff... I don't have anything stockpiled really like most on here, but i only have one store to use so i try to be a bit careful.

Bit worried tonight as i used two different tills - one at clothing who i asked nicely if she'd let me use another for "my mum" and she said she deffo couldn'yt put it in her till but to go downstairs and use the 2nd one... Makes me wonder if a memo's gone out cos i've used 2 in a row loads of times.

So i went downstairs with the Wii game (Fifa 11, £20 - is £30 in Asda!) and chose a male SA who insisted on a clubcard, i was like err no... but you can scan a temp one if you need to. That was a new one on me, although i've seen it mentioned in this thread.

Just hope my one and only local store (still a 12 mile round trip though!!) isn't getting stricter, as my next nearest is about a 23 mile round trip.

    on the ss

Thought I'd warn others that the following one comes back as N/A

Chicken Breast Joint with Butter Baste 800g £5.00 T

(I was buying it anyway - my local is useless for stocking many of the 'wanted' items). Still no luck with the rack of lamb or beef).

My last two vouchers have different numbers to the till receipt - missing leading 1 in the last but one set of numbers.

Is it best to edit these to match my receipt or just have an argument if they raise this - I have the "sorry asda was cheaper price check page" printed too which confirms the price differences.

    No no no...don't alter it.

They're all like this. I believe it is only the till operator number anyway.

For anyone who's vouchers come back as 'processing' - which browser are you using?

I found that by using IE, using the back arrow and re-submitting it worked after 2 or 3 attempts whereas on Firefox it didn't seem to.

*Note: It doesn't work for everyone but it's worth a try.

I will try and bump this daily as it seems to have helped a few people and the query comes up regularly - and this thread moves SO FAST!

Thanks to the SS people for all your hard work!
