It's here. Happy looking farmer smiles down on label which says £25 a kilo. You will fall through the floor at how small a piece you get for your money, but the voucher makes up for that. It's the best possible lamb and tastes wonderful. Don't overcook it!
Thanks Picasso, now I am going to sound a right idiot, but when I finally buy it , how long do i cook it for and what degrees please ? I dont eat meat and hubby only does on special occassions.0 -
after having the chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese past couple of days theres only 1 way for me to having bacon now..
it cooks and tastes DELICIOUS.....
If that's the 'Simply Cook' one, I agree. Had four of those over the last few days, all confirmed.
There's a BBQ chicken version which, IMHO, is even better and gets a small DTD return, too.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

Trout put through shopping and when I handed her my £16 voucher she leaned over backwards to trout No. 2, waved the voucher and said loudly to her ''one of *those*'' and rolled her beady eyes. Cheeky so-and-so!
Me, cool as a cucumber, turned to OH and while glancing toward her said ''oh, one of those'' and winked at him while pursing my lips troutlike:rotfl:! Was surprised at myself as I'm usually non-confrontational but if she can dish it, she better learn to take it! Her jaw dropped to the floor as she probably thought I'd just stand quietly looking guilty and she'd get away with mocking me for using a voucher! She was was completely taken aback and trout-pouted her way to putting through my voucher.
I plucked out my receipt before she could get her greasy mitts on it and left with a cheery ''have a nice day'' and she just glared till she could glare no more. Looked through the glass window from the car park on my way out and I'm positive I saw smoke coming out her ears! Fabulous!

When you take away the targetted items in the price comparison, it's swings & roundabouts as to which is cheaper. More often than not they are the same.
Generally all supermarkets have their loss leaders & offers, it just depends on what you usually buy I suppose.
I have been surprised at how close Tesco have been to Asda on many prices - although the 500 or so on the spreadsheet would show they are far from perfect.;)
I personally think Tesco get themselves into trouble by trying to 'hoodwink' customers
1 Litre Bacardi £13.00 for 1 at Asda
1 Litre Bacardi £22.79 for 1 at Tesco or 2 for £26.00
If Tesco had just sold it at a reasonable price of £13 in the beginning they would have saved themselves a lot of trouble.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Does he like it pink or well done? If you follow the instructions on the packet, it'll be well done. I tend to just halve the timings to get a little pinky colouring in the middle.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

Tesco website has:
Tesco Finest* Smoked Drycure Streaky Bacon 240G
and
Tesco Finest Peppered Streaky Bacon 200G
Both are different prices but both are on offer at 2 for £4. The OP paid £2.27 and said it was the drycure one. Does the other work too? (I presume you have to buy just one for the DTD to work.)
I'll try this tomorrow.

Yeah, buy one. I don't know about the Peppered one you've mentioned as I got the 'standard' smoked version.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0
