Thanks Picasso, now I am going to sound a right idiot, but when I finally buy it , how long do i cook it for and what degrees please ? I dont eat meat and hubby only does on special occassions.

The pack has the cooking temp and time calculated on it, for the weight you buy, and thats works out about right for me. Maybe take it out 5 mins earlier than they say.

Personally I just stick mine in the oven, with some Finest roast potaotes (also free on DTD) and it's all yummy!

Does he like it pink or well done? If you follow the instructions on the packet, it'll be well done. I tend to just halve the timings to get a little pinky colouring in the middle.

I was going to consult the web and various cookery books! Am looking at this recipe.

Yeah, buy one. I don't know about the Peppered one you've mentioned as I got the 'standard' smoked version.

    Thanks. I will.

When he has a steak at a restaurant he always goes for medium , so I presume that is the same way that you cook you rack of lamb. I have just told him he might have a whole rack of lamb on Sunday for lunch he looked real pleased lol Thanks for helping me with this cooking problem, but it is yonks since I cooked meat.

    Is it Haggerston Castle campsite?
No. Berwick-upon-Tweed Tesco lies between Tweedmouth and East Ord, opposite industrial estate. Not far from Spittal.

Just filled in a new SS form for an unconfirmed that I got today

Arm & Hammer Enamel Care Sensitive Toothpaste Tube (75ml)

    T£3.00 A£1.50 DTD£3.00 NET£0.00 :j:j

    Will confirm tomorrow

I really like this toothpaste :) It tastes quite strongly of bicarbonate of soda though so not everyones cup of tea - my oh hates it but I think it gets my teeth feeling really nice and clean :D

Now I'm torn - do I continue buying the other arm and hammer at a profit, which a perfectly good toothpaste, or buy this one which I prefer and (if it works) get if for free? :undecided

That's helpful. Thank you. I'd forgotten the pack did the maths for you!
  • Asda put bacardi at £13 to get folks through the doors. Whilst they are there they are likely to buy other things. I dont believe there is any profit in £13 a litre- and its more than likely they are selling at a loss.

Thank you for your help. I have written it all down so I dont burn his piece of lamb lol

I think the only reason Mr T's looks cheaper at certain times is because they suck you into the multideals. Just buy one item and I reckon Asda would be cheaper on most things.

Yes, I agree. But it seems most people don't realise that...I had no idea until all this started, just how important it is to check mysupermarket for instance before I buy anything. I totally believe in selective shopping now. :D
