anyone who uses the spreadsheet or the thread to target specific products(which if people are honest thats probally everyone on here) is abusing the t+c so whether one person does 1 shop from it or 7 they are still not in the spirit of things so to try and blame one person is pathetic..
Stop lecturing people and participate positively to this forum or pee off I say. All your posts are like berbastrike. You two really get on my tits
I think most people would agree that we are all bending the rules but in my opinion everyone should be doing so with a little discretion and not running around with an iPad and a videocamera to record the experience
You need to go to the forum "moaning for moanings sakes". Can you please post about DTD items and experiences.
I am sorry but you irritate me0 -

Is that the time you usually go? I'm an afternooner, so it's no wonder I have yet to meet a Friend of Martin's.
I don't really have a usual time but I won't be there tomorrow night because I shall be at church for the vigil of Easter. If vouchers come early enough, I might pop out tomorrow in the hope that it won't be too crowded. Will look out for a red rose (you promised!) and a EcclesCake with a baby. Don't know why it is so much fun to think I might bump into a Friend of Martin! I'll be buying even more dishwasher tablets and some rack of lamb.0 -

I suppose I'm just looking for clarification but I had a strange one this evening. Whilst doing my dtd shops I noticed an end of Finish that was marked at £3.05 for the 800ml rinse aid - clearly a mistake but there was loads there. I took 1 in with my main shopping to check.
Right enough it came back at £5.99. :j
I went back after packing all my dtd stuff in the car and bought the shelf. £100 worth. I went to customer services and she called the manager. The manager was adamant that I was getting only the difference back, not double the difference. I phoned customer services who told me it's at the managers discretion.
I phoned them again and a different person said the same thing. I walked out with the lot and receipt and photo of the price on the shelf with the product in an effort to sort this out.
Is dtd at the store manager's discretion? Do I just send the standard e-mail to the ceo? All help is really appreciated. I'm normally king of the arguers - this is the first dtd one I've lost.:mad::mad:
BTW, when I wrote to them I just asked them to clarify their DTD policy, and told them about my experience. They offerred me aplogies and a money card straight away."Retail is for suckers"

I could always pick up a few for you next time? It's only a 5-minute walk to store.
I missed you by about an hour. Thanks for the offer of picking some up for me -- I'm happy to risk it. I'm planning to have some for Sunday evening but if necessary will take some out of the freezer.0 -

They may invoke the clause whereby each store has a bulk buying policy( my stores is 6 per person0 and thereby only give you DTD on 6 of them.0 -
So, you are a disabled war pensioner who has an iPad - jeez, the MoD war pension must be better that I thought. Oh, and since I am ex-RAF (who was made redundant thanks to the government cutbacks in the medical trades) perhaps coming the high horse "oh, I used to be military - aren't I in the right?" card is not the best one to play? Let me guess - you had a commission? Just a wild stab in the dark.
Yes, I have been stockpiling stuff to save money in the long term - some of us can't afford luxuries, and have learned to live without - but it is still nice to have the chance to walk around not smelling like a sumo wrestler's jockstrap
Just a Cpl in fact and the iPad was a Christmas present from my Son. I don't consider myself 'in the right' or in the wrong. I just dont go around whinging about splinters in other peoples eyes when I have a plank in mine.
So lets start to be friendly with each other shall we?

My DTD calculations went to pot at the till today when SA refused to take my €2 finish coupon against the dishwashlemons 56. She said it was for quantamatic products only. Anyone else had this?
She's wrong that it is for quantumatic products, though that's correct for the £5 voucher that some people are using for the tablets. What the £2 Finish coupon does say, in such small print that no-one spots it -- and I only know because an OP pointed it out -- is that it can't be used on the 56 packets.
But I have never had problems using the £2 coupon against the 56 packs -- except today, when, like a first class idiot, I forgot to use one!!!0
