If this DTD'er can't even keep up with all you hardcore DTD'ers, then how the hell are Tescos staff gonna manage lol

They probably pay someone to sit and read this thread all day, and monitor the spreadsheet. Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me

On a different topic, are many people STILL missing yesterdays vouchers? I was planning to use the library printer today, but it's too late for that now. :(
  • Just popped into my Kings Lynn Tesco-what a big mistake!!!!!! Had my coupon at the ready and when the sa took it sad"she had to check with the supervisor!". She came back and said the "today head office had sent a memo saying that they have the right to refuse any coupon if they feel that they are being used to generate another!" Yes previous receipt did show that I had bought 2 bottles of wolf blass and some deodrant. i stood my ground saying that Tesco terms and conditions on my coupon, do no say anything like that, but felt that I couldn't say too much in case of any changes of today in T's & C's!!! I said that I wasn't at all happy and why are they not stating this on any of their huge advertisement campaigns and I would be taking it further with their head office. Anyone know where I need to complain to please via email.

"you are the sort of person" also comes across as "pretty rude".

Would someone please be so kind as to specify what the barcodes are on these two products....

    AMBRE SOLAIRE MOISTURISING MILK F10/F20 200ML £9.99

    AMBRE SOLAIRE MOISTURISING SPRAY F15/20/30 200ML £9.99

There is a huge wall of Ambre Solaire stuff in my local Tesco with many different bottles at 9.99 - I'd hate to pick up the wrong one.

Hi, the Ambre Solaire Moisturing Spray F15 barcode is : 3600540305459 :)

  • Seems like this thread has brought out the worst in people! The greed, selfishness and bad manners is incredible.

I love my DTD shopping and the threads were great in the beginning, but now it seems everyone and his granny (oh and the goldfish) seem to be on the bandwagon.

Sadly it seems the way of the world these days. :(

Anyone wondering about the spreadsheet someone mentioned they had seen staff .looking at instore, it is more than likely just the list of items changing price, and that their spreadsheets look a little like ours like any spreadsheets do. They do have to change prices each week and judging by the price changes due tomorrow it makes perfect sense.

I can't see Mr T using the spreadsheet for anything of the sort as we could easily swap it for whatever we wanted and if they took it as gospel they would be reducing all sorts. They would have to go through every single price themselves on a daily basis rather than rely on our spreadsheet anyway, then they would have to have it confirmed and relayed to the stores everyday.

Personally I feel that wont be happening as staff do not have the time to be doing this each day, but the fact that the stores have no idea about what to do with the vouchers indicates that further communication regarding it would mean they would have to be trained all over again if they were and I imagine again that wouldn't happen.

Sooo... what have people been buying today? I have been busy thinking about my next few shops and how best to use these vouchers :)
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

so you have only bought what you would have bought from tesco anyway and not used the list ???

and because someone wasnt here at the beginning there jumping on the bandwagon and making things worse..

do you need a ladder to get on that horse of yours??
