They probably pay someone to sit and read this thread all day, and monitor the spreadsheet. Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me
How much would I LOVE that to be my job lol
What's the betting that (if this job does exist) when they clock of at 5pm they head straight to the next Tesco along the way and shop using all our ideas............ :rotfl:.•¨¨*:•..•

I certainly won't go over the £100 a month limit, so it'll only be one email address that I'll be using anyway. Also, this £100 a month thing: Is that per calendar month or per month from when you claim your first DTD voucher?
TIA for any help you may be able to give, and sorry for being so dense.
You can use your Clubcard happily and still get DTD vouchers.
£100 limit, is per calendar month.

I said that I wasn't at all happy and why are they not stating this on any of their huge advertisement campaigns and I would be taking it further with their head office. Anyone know where I need to complain to please via email.
First one today

I've just been back today after the same experience on Sunday and they gave me cash for my voucher. They told me the same thing on Sunday, that I could not use a coupon after my receipt showed a previous coupon used, mine showed a beef joint, a pork joint and courgettes plus milk. My point is:- There are only 2 of us in our household, I am not doing trolley loads of shopping anymore and my dh is partial to his red wine which we buy regularly, long before DTD! My shopping hasn't dramatically changed from what I normally buy!! I've never bought a Betty Crocker even when I could! So to be told I am selectively shopping smacks of Tesco being very unfair and devious as well. If they choose to sell the products at an inflated price then the few that take advantage of this and stay within the T's and C's and price check their receipt should not be penalised.0 -

They do have to change prices each week and judging by the price changes due tomorrow it makes perfect sense.
I can't see Mr T using the spreadsheet for anything of the sort as we could easily swap it for whatever we wanted and if they took it as gospel they would be reducing all sorts. They would have to go through every single price themselves on a daily basis rather than rely on our spreadsheet anyway, then they would have to have it confirmed and relayed to the stores everyday.
Personally I feel that wont be happening as staff do not have the time to be doing this each day, but the fact that the stores have no idea about what to do with the vouchers indicates that further communication regarding it would mean they would have to be trained all over again if they were and I imagine again that wouldn't happen.
Sooo... what have people been buying today? I have been busy thinking about my next few shops and how best to use these vouchers
Yes I agree. One spreadsheet looks pretty much like another. Lots of rectangles and pretty coloursAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Just had tesco finest pizza in back garden, kids had spaghetti bol, with garlic bread followed by amore yoghurts (which, by the way are not Dtding anymore), it was delicious and easy and a lovely family time.
Thank you Mr Tesco I think you paid us to enjoy !0 -

Or at least tell all their friends and family to. They are probably the best informed DTD'er out there :T0 -
Seriously don't worry about tesco using the SS. Tesco will have access to extremely complex MI data generated from the POS terminals based on what is being bought, how often, in which stores, by who, how its paid for and what else its bought alongside. This data, for example, is used to generate your clubcard offers. They dont need to use a little spreadsheet like we have - although it is excellent for us and well put together and maintained, & I have no doubts that they check it now and then to see how its being used etc, I doubt they are distributing it to stores as their own MI would be instantly updated faster and more efficiently (e.g it will tell them where they are generating losses and by how much etc)0

Thanks for your replies everyone. i have just emailed Tescos to see what their policy actually is and if they have changed it or have just been told a "few porkies". I think I can remember someone name and shaming the Kings Lynn manager in one of the earlier threads, with his photo. Wished I'd have gone to another store now!!!!0

Anyone who has bought the beer/cider etc. Could you tell me what sort of date do they have on them? Having a party later in the year and just wondered if they would last till then.
